Fantastic book. This is my first foray into this comic world, and it was great. The artwork is beautiful as always, coming from Šejić, and I'm definitely going to check out more work by Hawkins!

Unbelievable. The greatest collection I have seen in comic form.

Not having read the original series, this comic collection was still fairly easy to follow. Reading it in the digital edition however was difficult as the lettering is compact and not easily read as well as there being a lot of it at first. Some white lettering on black background did not help.It deals with a future in which cyborgs/Drones and an aerial race are at war. Marcus leads the aerial fighters’ attacks and discovers Aphrodite IX, the android assassin, by accident and brings her to his home base with disastrous consequences.It also involves the rebirth of all the other “gods” and is written with the idea of a sequel.The original Dave Wohl / David Finch 2004 collection is included at the end for those of us who hadn’t read it the first time round. Because some pages were published vertically instead of horizontally, reading in the digital edition is a bit of a challenge. This is about a beautiful android assassin who gets amnesia each time she finishes a mission. She tries to find out more about her origins and who is pulling her strings.

J'ai acheté le livre après avoir decouvert Stjepan Sejic sur une autre oeuvre et n'ai pas été déçu.J'ai préféré la première partie à la seconde (prelude), l'ensemble est très bon, les ajouts et dossier très interressants.

Amazing book with amazing art, one of my favourites of all time, beautiful deluxe treatment hardcover, however the binding on my copy is not great and is missing glue which makes the pages come away from the spine a bit, but no damage is being done, it is mostly a cosmetic issue but I do handle it with more care in fear of making it worse.
