Complete breakdown after return period
I bought this item on January 11th and it was working beautifully. Then one month later it shuts off and on, there was consistent chirping in the left headphone followed by a right headphone chirping. By that time I cannot return it. I wrote to the company via email from the web but there was no response. Now it is march and i cannot charge the unit. From the beginning slotting in the charger has always been difficult, i mean you have to push hard before the red light come on indicating the unit is charging. Now today ie middle of march, the unit is not charging . It was acting up since february after the return period. I like the idea and the unit for the first month. Now i wonder whether it is under warranty. Money down the drain if i cannot replace it. I tried emailing but........I have since called the company and been told to send the unit back to them to verify my claims about the unit before they send me a new unit. Sounds to me from my perception, the person who answers the phone is very aware of the problem. And I have to pay for postage to send it back. I must state that the person who answered the phone is courteous and I received an email to send my item to immediately after my call. I will update on how long it will take to solve this problemProblem solved. I paid for postage to send back the unit. Got a replacement because the charging dock was faulty. Again stephen has been very helpful.

WAIST OF MONEY
I bought these becuz an audiologist on you tube recommened them! HORRIBLE AND NOT WORTH ALL THE MONEY U HAVE TO PAY FOR THEM!!I returned the first pair they wete worthless .. they had a crackling sound in left side and were horrible for hearing wot a joke. Then I devided to replace them! The second pair are just as bad! They suck so bad .. the sound goes up and down n in and out while Im using them. I hear more background noise (regardless of setting or using the editor ) then actual vouces. I was still straining to hear and while these stupid things did not stay on in one mode it kept doing wierd stuff so I just threw them in a drawer and I am back to square one. What really makes me angry is that audiologist who said they were worth the money. TOTAL BSThey work worse then the little stupid amplifiers I have bought for under 50 bucks. But since a professional endorsed them I coughed up the 300.00 in hopes of something that would actually help. Boooo They didnt!!

After almost 2 years use this is my review. Some good and Some bad
I have some hearing loss and this device helps in some environments and is a pain in others. Operating or driving anything that is moderately loud while wearing these shows the short comings. The listen thru pops on and off interrupting music streaming, phone calls and just silence. I actually purchased this due to the noise cancellation technology but would give that feature a 2 out of 10. In a crowd it doesn't seem to matter what setting you use all you get is a change of volume not any noticeable cancellation. I had another device from Amazon that was much better but it quit working after less than 5 months. Maybe the new model of Behear is better.

Best and least expensive option for substantial hearing loss
I have substantial hearing loss and the BeHear Now is way better than my $7000 hearing aids, Bose headset, pocket talker, etc for lectures, movies, etc. it’s also great for talking in the phone (of course the Apple AirPods are fantastic for the iphone but behearnow lets you slow down the phone conversation).The Bluetooth transmitter works very very well with a TV’s headphone jack. I bought a cheap powered lavalier mic and plugged it into the Bluetooth transmitter and voila, a remote mic! My hearing aids have a remote mic, but that set up costs $7000.So the price for this headset is very affordable, and the features are great. In the hospital it can be a real pain keeping track of, inserting and removing expensive hearing aids - this headset would be so much easier for interactions with hospital workers. So I will put this headset in my hospital go-bag.Definitely try this!

Too complicated for the baby boomer generation
I gave this to a 65 year old retired physician. He tried all day to get it set up, got so frustrated with all the settings, multiple beeps, etc required to get it working, he gave up and we returned it. If this is for the over-60 age group it needs to be simplified and a lot more user friendly.

Poor Type A power connector
After three weeks, the charger stopped working reliably. The unit has the same problem that the old Kindles had--cheap connectors. There is no fix for this defect. Going to switch to an Apple Pro that has no problems.

Matallic voices
I’m using this device mainly as a hearing aid as for that he seems to be working fairly well. Although at times voices that here seem to be metallic. And from time to time the sound will go out and come back on. If I can figure a way to fix this I would give a five star rating. But at this time A four star rating is the best I can give.
