Sorel Women's Whitney Short Lace' Boots

I love these boots! They’re nice and warm, very lightweight and supportive on my ankles. They’re fully waterproof and have a good grip along the bottom.Fit is pretty good. I usually wear a euro shoe size 36.5 and got these in a 37: they fit nicely and have room for some thicker socks when it’s colder. Finally they look nice enough that they can go with workwear or outdoorsy stuff as not too utilitarian.

When I try footwear on for the first time, I usually wait for a few days until I decide whether to keep them, but as soon as I tried these boots I knew they were going to be wonderfully comfortable. I couldn't wait to try them out. It was a cold day, so I walked for around five miles, and have never felt my feet so warm and comfy. The best footwear I have ever owned. No complaints whatsoever!

These boots are soft, cosy and well made. Tested in light rain and snow as well as ice and they have coped well. Probably the best boots I've ever owned for walking on ice and slush. They are incredibly comfortable, just like wearing trainers, and didn’t need breaking in at all. They have a modest amount of arch support but I believe the inner soles are removable if you need to wear them with orthotics. Wore these every day on holiday in Canada in March where temperatures were -10C or below and they kept my feet really warm.I have found that all Sorel footwear comes up small so I would recommend ordering a size up. I’m a UK women’s 7 and the size 8 fits perfectly.

The boots look and feel snug, but are not in fact too small. They are really warm (I feel the cold terribly, especially in my feet) and that in itself is wonderful. They also grip really well, so another bugbear of mine - fear of slipping on ice - has been assuaged. I would definitely recommend them.

These boots are rated for very cold temperatures and are really comfortable. I did have to order a size bigger to wear them with winter socks, but I’m really happy with them.

I have worn these boots everyday since they arrived! They are just what I was hoping for, super comfy, warm, tough, washable and look good.I would say size wise that they come up slightly on the small size. I usually have plenty of room in a 6.5 - these are more like a 6.

Ive been searching far and wide for winter boots for my upcoming trip to see the northern lights. Ordered 4 different pairs and I have FINALLY found the one. These boots are so comfortable for walking, they are so lightweight they truly feel like a sneaker. I used to wear the Joan of Arctic ones which were so heavy that i literally felt like my legs were tired the moment i put them on. These ones are really warm too.I also know theyre waterproof because i poured a cup of water over them LOL and the water rolled off immediately, not damp at all.Love the design.I'm usually a size uk 5.5 for TOMs, and a size uk 5.5-6 for sports shoes from Adidas, but i got a size 7 here and theyre good. Just nice. Fits with thick socks.UPDATE: i used these boots for 10 days in the Arctic Circle and loved them!!! They are not so heavy that you can still wear them in 7 degrees weather, but equally so in -15 degrees. They are definitely snow proof :) Note however that they do not have a good grip on ice, but i think its very hard to find shoes that can actually grip the ice. Have had no luck so far in that regard.

The best boots I've ever bought. They are very warm and very comfy! I tried these on at a store and I'm glad I did, they come up quite small ( I'm a size 6 I bought a size 7 and they fir perfectly! ) I'd highly recommend them.

Utilisées cet hiver en Norvège et en SuèdeJe n'ai pas eu froid au pied une seule fois !Et pourtant j'ai marché dans de la poudreuse profonde par -10° jusque -15°Chaussures très confortables et vraiment chaudes.Certains commentaires disaient de prendre une taille au dessus ce que j'ai fais. Du coup elles étaient vraiment trop grandes pour moi. Dommage. Je les reprendrais à ma taille la prochaine fois.

Sehr bequemer Schuh, der optimal passt. Ich brache normalerweise 38,5 und habe den Schuh in 39 bestellt, damit ich noch ein paar dicke Socken darin tragen kann. Passt perfekt!Einziges Manko, dass auch bereits andere Kunden beschrieben haben. Bei der Schnürung gibt es eine Öse zu wenig, so dass der Schuh bei der Bewegung direkt in der Beuge vorne etwas aufklafft. Das der Schuh mir aber sonst auch optisch sehr gut gefällt, nehme ich dieses kleine Manko in Kauf.Alles in Allem: Kaufempfehlung!

I’m normally a size 9 but because these boots are really narrow, I had to size up (they’re full sizes only so all the way up to a 10.)Otherwise I love these much more than my Sorel Caribous. They feel SUPER light and flexible - not like your typical clunky boot!If you have wide feet, these boots are iffy. If you have normal feet - I 1000% recommend these.

Der Schuh ist herrlich schön und warm.Allerdings fällt er zu klein aus, deswegen musste ich ihn leider zurück schicken.Mit dickeren Socken getragen, würde ich ihn eventuell nochmals bestellen, statt Größe 37, eher in 39.

Die Schuhe sehen gut aus, fallen eher klein aus, daher in 41 anstatt 40 bestellt. Sind eher etwas für schmale Füße. Leicht und warm. Noch kein Urteil zu Regenfestigkeit möglich. Einziger Nachteil ist die Position der Schnürsenkel-Ösen, bzw.. der Abstand dazwischen. Bein festerer Schnürung geht der Schuh von vorne gesehen leicht in der Mitte auf, mich stört es eher optisch, weil leicht unförmiger Eindruck entsteht, bequem sind sie dennoch. Ich habe die Schuhe behalten, weil ich sie gerade dringend brauche, würde sie aber nicht unbedingt nochmals bestellen.

I got the boots a week early which I'm very happy about since we're getting hit with cold weather in Canada. I would recommend going at least a half size up. I usually buy 9.5 but I got a 10 and it's a perfect fit. I remember when I bought the caribou sorels in a size 10 and they were huge so I was slightly hesitant on going half a size up again. Only reason why I took one star away is because there are some dirt on the boots, not exactly scuff marks but close to it. Easy to clean.

I wear a 7, ordered an 8 and they fit perfectly! I notice that my other sorrels fit small and I didnt want to take a chance having to exchange as I wanted to wear them right away. Aside from the size these boots are amazing! Cute AND warm! Perfect for those days with not too much snow or the ones with no snow but freezing temps! Great addition to my Canadian winter collection!

Scarpe molto belle, ordinate mezzo numero più grandi, ma calzano molto strette in punta (ed io ho il piede fino!). Rimandate indietro. Peccato...

En algunos zapatos uso el 37 y en otros el 38, lo q mejor me va es un 37.5, en este caso cogí el 38 y me venia pequeño aún así. Lo cambié por un 38.5 y genial!! Además fué muy rápido el cambio.Las botas son una maravilla!! Super cómodas, resisten la lluvia y charcos y aguantan muchoooo el frio y la humedad. Quizá no las recomendaria tanto para una persona que le suden los pies. A 4 grados dan calor incluso!!! Así que para temperaturas mas bajar irán geniales!!! También se lavan con facilidad!

Leicht und bequem. Wie bei Sorel üblich besser 1 bis 1,5 Nummer größer bestellen. Der Schuh ist schmal geschnitten, Wer eine Stiefelette mit festem Halt sucht, sollte besser einen anderen nehmen! Vom Gefühl her eher ein höherer, weicher Sneaker. Genau das, was ich wollte :)

Nunca he tenido un calzado más cómodo; mejor que las zapatillas deportivasConsidero que la tala coincide con la habitual, a pesar de haber leído en algún lugar que dan más talla. En mi caso, no ha sido así.Calidad excelente; no me las he quitado desde que las recibí.Soy súper friolera y no permiten que pases el más mínimo feliz. Por fin, ya no paso frío. Me encantan.

I ordered one size bigger and had some comfortable toe space due to that. But like another comment stated they were really narrow when I tried them on at first. I thought that I must return them. But instead I wore them indoors for a couple of hours and took a 2 hour walk outside the next day and after that they had widen up really nicely. There wasn’t a feeling of tightness at all anymore!!! So if You find them really tight at first don’t give up just yet. They are also quite light, have a good grip on the sole and are really warm. They have been great during the rainy moments too. And I love the color! Definitely would recommend!

Ich habe den Stiefel leider zurückgehen lassen, er ist für meine Füße zu eng geschnitten. Schade da er optisch und von der Verabeitung her super gewesen wäre. Schade, schade.

Good quality and comfortable pair, decent traction, true to size but only if thick insole is replaced with a thinner insole or boots will feel a bit tight on instep of foot.

Sehr schöne Schuhe die sich qualitativ hochwertig anfühlen. Leider waren sie mir - trotz einer Größe größer - viel zu klein. Ich hätte vermutlich zwei Größen größer gebraucht. Außerdem ist der Schuh extrem schmal geschnitten. Ich muss sonst immer darauf gucken, dass Schuhe nicht zu breit für meine Füße sind, aber hier hat der Schuh gedrückt.Andere Sorel Stiefel in einer Größe größer passen besser und sind auch nicht zu eng. Ich denke das liegt hier einfach am Modell und man muss sehr zierlich Füße haben, damit es passt.
