Good Support but Sandal delaminated after 2 months
These have greatly helped with foot pain. Unfortunately they have started to separate on the front of the left sandal after only 2 months of light wear. I have contacted Vionic support and I hope to have a good resolution soon. I will update to 5 stars when a replacement sandal is received for the defective one.Update *** - Vionic will not honor the warranty as the store I purchased from is not an authorized seller, which is not pointed out anywhere. Amazon needs to do a much better job at preventing bogus sellers on their site. Very disappointed in Amazon for allowing this to happen.DO NOT PURCHASE this item from this seller.

Nice design, but defective clasp and disappointing support
I liked the sandal arch support, better than most other sandals, though not quite orthopedic. I also liked the velcrow adjustable strap feature. But after 16 months of limited, only-around-the-house light use, the metal clip that joins the strap broke (see pic). I E-mail communicated with the manufacturer who told me that this "usually doesn't happen," but since it was past 6 months warranty, there was nothing they could do. I would have been happy with a replacement for the defective part, but they were unresponsive to that also. Not impressed with support.I feel that for this price, all parts should be strong, high quality, good support. I'm going to see if local shoe repair store can fabricate and install a substitute metal clip, though the store owner takes vacations in places I can't afford :)

Not enough support and slippery sole.
Pros:-well made-comfortable on first touch.Cons:-Heavy-hard slippery soles (profile shown in picture)-very little support for an "orthopedic" shoe. (Profile shown in picture)Comparison:I tried three different shoes and here is my quick comparison, for more information read my in depth reviews of each shoe, whoch can be found through my account page.-Spenco yumi: 2 STARS not supportive enough and slippery sole-Orthaheel Ryder: 3 STARS Not as supportive as I expected and strange sole profile.-Orthaheel Bryce: 5 STARS Perfection! Great support, Great look, and Great traction. Worth the price.Review:The shoe was well put together but offers less support than I expected. The bottom of the shoe is very slippery and there are serious traction Issues. The deal killer for me was the lack of support, Ultimately is support not the reason you buy a Orthopedic shoe? The thong strap was a little rough but I suspect it will become comfortable after just a few hours a wear.Summary:Though this is well put together, the lack of support and slippery sole are a deal killer. I am returning these and would not suggest them.

POOR QUALITY, 3 PAIR, ALL FELL APART AFTER 6 MONTHS
UNGLUED SOLE. I purchased three pair of these the past few years after suffering from plantar fasciitis. A bit pricey but I liked the support, fit and feel and figured they would be a quality sandal. After approximately six months of wear, the sole of the sandal began to open up in the front, ungluing from the foot bed, creating a dangerous front facing flap. Apparently the foot bed/sole is two layers glued together. This eventually happened to all three pairs and regluing attempts did not work. I contacted the manufacturer a week ago and all I received was an auto response message. This would be a great sandal if they could make the sole out of one piece of vinyl/rubber. $180 in the trash. I will look for another brand and cannot recommend.

I live in Key West and like to wear supportive flip flops
I have had many of these same style different color.. the foot bed (insole ) on this pair began deteriorating within 2 months. I live in Key West and like to wear supportive flip flops. I have various pairs and brands. I am also a Physical Therapist who deals with foot /instability issues on a daily basis. 80% of the population here wears sandals as primary footwear. There are limited footwear options here on this 2x4 mile island. I will often recommend your shoes to my patients to supportive nature and last....this pair has definitely made me think twice.. I'm unsure if it is possibly a manufacturing issue, but quality is not worth the money especially when there are many other options to choose from these days. QA needed

Good design, poor quality control
I've been wearing a pair of these almost every day for three years and they were great. So when the metal part holding a strap together finally broke, I naturally ordered another pair. Alas, the new pair (sold by Above the Rest Products, fulfilled by Amazon) are badly made. When I put the right shoe on a flat table, the right side of the heel is up off the table; if I press down on the heel so that it is flat on the table, the left side of the sole lifts off the table. So the footbed is twisted, as I can also see just by looking at the shoe. The left shoe has the same problem but to a lesser degree. This twist in the footbed makes the shoes weird to walk on; when I put weight on a foot my heel slips to the side. I feel like I got a factory second. So I ordered another pair from Z*pp*'s (owned by Amazon) and they had straight footbeds, though the strap between the toes on my right foot hurts for some reason that I don't understand; I've ordered a third pair to try to fix that. Bottom line: These are great sandals when they are made right but it may take a few tries before you get a pair that isn't defective.

Needs breaking in.
I bought these flip flops, despite their extremely high price, because I hoped that they'd last longer and fit better than the run of the mill flip flops you find elsewhere. Time has proven that they last! The arch support is great. The issue that I had with them is that they were so stiff out of the box that they made my feet bleed, literally. I contacted customer support who had no suggestions. In summary, good flip flops once you've worn them down a lot.
