Smatree Carrying Case for Nintendo 3DS XL/2DS XL

Just bought my son an old school 3DS and needed a place to put it. This case worked perfectly, fit the 3DS perfectly and also has enough space for the 3DSXL. Holds 8 games in the slots and has a large pocket for whatever else you need to bring. Sturdy build quality and looks great. No complaints.

Was looking for a game case that could house my New 2DS XL for when I was not using it with the power adapter. Happen to come across this thing and wanted to see if this were any good.The case arrives on my end and boy was it more than I had expected of it.It came in a sturdy box, well wrapped in a ziplock bag. Upon pulling it out, I could tell the people who designed and manufactured this case really put a lot of real thought into making this the best New 3DS case one could fetch without busing the bank.The case is super solid, can house all of the DS and nearly all of the 3DS line of systems, can take a decent pounding from being transported around for when your system with carts are not in use by rough housing kids, and doesnt compromise on the slot for the power adaptor as it can fit 2 in the slot or 1 and something else while transporting it around.The only gripe about it is that the cart holding slots in the case are a bit on the tight side when it is brand new. But with a bit of regular use, it will loosen up a little and allow easy access to the carts with not a lot of issues.But keep in mind that this is not designed to house a regular 2DS system due to it not being able to fold up.Its everything that was advertised.Good case. As long as the quality is the same or better on those made after this review is written, is a must buy for your various DS and 3DS systems to house the system and the power adaptor in one easy spot when not in use.

Great carrying case for Nintendo 3DS and N3DSXL handhelds. I noticed some reviews mention the insert not working with a N3DSXL that has a protective case - I was able to use the insert with a N3DSXL thats in a case without issues (see photos). I wanted to highlight this particular point in case there was anyone on the fence because of being unsure whether the insert would work on a N3DSXL or not. The insert is a nice addition but if it wasn't included it wouldn't be a deal breaker for me. I also bought this case for a 3DS, you can see in the photos that the 3DS is almost completely sitting inside the insert while the N3DSXL reaches the very edges of the insert.Like other reviewers have highlighted, this carrying case feels like it's made of durable high quality materials. The outside is smooth and soft to the touch but feels like a hard shell when pressure is applied to it. It also has a sturdy zipper that feels like it will last continous use.It's worth noting that if you use this carrying case for a N3DSXL with a protective case for the handheld itself, fill all 8 slots on the game cartridge sleeve, and add an item in the zippered pouch section (like a charger) it can feel slightly tight (literally just a tad) when trying to close the case. I chose to not fill the game cartridge sleeve completely (I leave 2 spots open) as well as make sure the charger being stored in the case is opposite the part of the sleeve that doesn't have game cartridges. I don't notice any resistance or pressure when closing the carrying case when setup this way.

I own another Smatree case and found it to be very thoughtfully designed with high quality materials so when I saw that they made a case for the New 3DS XL, I didn't hesitate to order it. The case I was using for my New 3DS XL was a little snug with the shell case I used on my device and only had enough room for the New 3DS XL and maybe a cable.The case is very nice and spacious. The materials used seem high quality and durable and it is made very well from stitching to the zipper. The zipper was a little sticky half way through but it is not bad and does not get stuck. The case offers enough room for the New 3DS XL to sit comfortably with Tomee XL Crystal case attached. It also has a flap that can hold 8 3DS very snuggly(maybe a little too much) and seems to keep the system more in place in the case instead of loosely sit. On the top portion in a zip pouch which has enough room for a charging cable, a thin wall wort, a wipe cloth, some extra styluses, and a game or two. It basically has enough room for all your 3DS needs. It also includes a loose sleeve with an elastic pocket that is meant to hold onto your 3DS in the case. The fit is a bit tight but it did fit with the Tomee Crystal case and might offer a little more protection in the case. I don't really see the necessity of this piece and will likely use the case without it.The outside of the case is a soft rubbery feeling material that doesn't pick up dust or hold fingerprints. It has a raised Smatree "S" symbol on it which looks very nice and simplistic. There are two high quality zippers with the Smatree branding and a loop with a carabiner attached matching the black with red accent color scheme. The shell case is appropriately and satisfyingly rigid and looks to provide good protection in bags or holding it loose.If you're looking for a case to carry all your 3DS XL gear, then I believe this to be the one you should get. A lot of companies make these shell cases with little thought or care. Smatree does not cut corners and puts themselves entirely into making a high quality and fully functional case. The price is about twice as much as the cheaper ones on Amazon at ~$21 but you get far more than double the quality and value in my opinion. It seems ridiculous to be impressed with a case but this case is impressive and easy to recommend.

It does what it needs to do, and does it well! The inside top zipper compartment fits the stock device charger nicely without putting pressure on the screen, and the pocket for the 3ds fits very well without compressing any of the trigger buttons (even providing a small netted insert to help keep the device from shifting around during movement and tapping the shoulder buttons - a very appreciated touch). Not to mention the affordability being pretty decent for what you’re getting here!However I’m not much for the aesthetic/design aspect of this. The S on the front looks far too close to a swastika, and the zipper-dongle color doesn’t match the blue if you should opt for that one over the red variant.All in all if the aesthetics don’t bother you, I can highly recommend this carrying case

The SMatree N100 is an excellent choice of case for your Nintendo 3DS. It provides a great amount of storage space while maintaining its compact size.On the outside: The case is a harder shell that will keep your inside valuables from being crushed. The zipper glides smoothly and appears to be of good quality. It does come with two zippers, incase one fails. It also has a carabiner which I found useful for attaching the case to my book bag strap while in the airport for quick and easy access.On the inside: There is a removable sleeve designed to place the Nintendo in and then hold it in place. Others found this useless; however, I liked it because it adds additional scratch protection from the soft material and prevents the device from sliding. It also has a pull tab to help with device removal. For those who do not like the sleeve, the device can be placed in the slot without it but then there is wiggle room (be careful opening case if you are not using the sleeve). The games slide into an attached center flap. There are 8 individual pockets which keep your games snug. Placing more than 1 game per pouch may be pushing the limit but in my opinion, this is a travel case and not many would play more than 8 games while away. There is also a storage pouch with a zipper. This is a great feature as it will keep your extras secure instead of sliding around the case. This pouch will hold the charger and plug with some additional room- headphones, extra games, etc.Overall, this is an excellent choice in travel cases. It has great functionality, durability, and accessibility for a very reasonable price. No regrets with this one!

This thing have met what I'm looking for in a hard carrying case gave it 5 out of 5 for the price and quality of the item need less to say did not get it for a 3DS XL... only got it for a GPD XD android handheld that is on the way, now let's go ahead and state what I've foundPros: 1. It has a lot of room to store not only a 3DS XL but more you can place your favorite earpods/earphone, a power bank with a charger and some spare cable with a stylus pen if needed, which I find better than other off brand cases. the thing store my 6.1 inch phone in there2. The build quality is amazing not saying its made of steel which would be cool ...but???? maybe not an good idea... now anyway this thing holds up darn well after I (accidentally drop it out my window) ;) which is two stores high with my power bank and smartphone inside. Not saying you should do that, I only do this kind of test for my future channel I trying to work on besides I like to push this budget kind of things to see if you can get more than your money worth, overall it's pretty darn hard on ( no puns intended)3. It can store up to 8 cartridges for on the go, which I use for my sd card for my many devices. that's a bonus for me maybe for you tooCon: 1. Color options, not every one goes for the black look people like more options like they could throw in a Red, blue , orange, gold, silver, heck even green maybe be good. Its for the 3ds xl overall you know you got some big Pokemon fans that want something to match up with their gearAll I'm saying I feel good buying this for the price and if your not ify about the color options go for it, its more worth than what your paying for (if they don't jack up the price after this review)

I’ll be honest. I don’t normally give a lot of reviews on here, and I normally only buy Nintendo branded products, when it comes to things of their world; like 3DS, GBA, etc., type things. However, this product is literally so well made, I had to say something.One wouldn’t even know if Nintendo commissioned them out to make these or not, because they are so professionally made.I still prefer the old silver, Nintendo branded products. But that’s hard to beat, iconic, original, and super expensive nowadays. But, in some ways this one is even better than theirs.It is soft, protects well, has a lot of accessories pouches, etc. In that way, it’s even better than Nintendos version. The black and blue looks so good too! Even the D Ring looks fancy.Thank you! I’ll keep buying your products!

Compré la funda para una nintendo DSi XL y de momento estoy contenta. Entra un poco justa en la pieza extraíble pero sí cabe. Además, cabe el cargador sin mucho problema.

Le stylet d'origine de la console ne rentre pas dans l'emplacement prévu. Autrement tout le reste rentre (chargeur, cartouches de jeux).
