Great fit no smell from the compost
These are for my little kitchen composter. I have never smelled anything through the filter even though I empty the compost frequently. Just the right size for the lid.

These work great in the compost pail
These work great in the compost pail to keep smells and gnats out of the compost pail on the counter. However they are not washable. My partner inadvertently washed the Kitchen Compost Bin Filters Charcoal Replacements and even after letting it air dry for two days it was not reusable.

Good Thickness and fit well.
These seem to be working just fine. No bad smells, odors or fruit flies. They are a bit thicker than the last ones but not too thick so as to caused mold to form. I like them.

I rely heavily on these!
I depend on these for my compost bin! When those darned fruit flies lay eggs on it, I simply empty my compost, remove the filter and leave it outside in the sun (and weather) and then reuse it later when the eggs are gone. I still have to have my supply in the cabinet, however. They are an essential part of composting at home!

These filters are stiffer than the originals, and so they stay in place. The originals fell out often.

Sehr gut zuschneidbar, dicker als Original, funktioniert super!
Super Filtermatten zum selbst zurecht schneiden!Unser Bio-Eimer hat nun schon ein paar Jahre auf dem Deckel und der dort eingebaute Filter verschmutzt immer mal wieder. Bei der Reinigung kann man quasi zusehen, wie der Filter langsam zerfällt. Also: Was Neues muss her.Neuer Eimer (Frau sagt JA!) oder neuer Filter? Pragmatisch hab ich für den Filter gestimmt... Hund auch, also Überzahl :-)Die Filterstücke lassen sich super auf das passende Maß zuschneiden und es sind noch ausreichend (12 geliefert) Stücke da als weiterer Ersatz. Das Material ist sogar dicker als der Originalfilter, so dass der neue besser in die Aufnahme klemmt.Ok, ein neuer Eimer ist irgendwann auch dran :-)
