So yes, this silicone handle holder is a bit wobbly/loose a fit, but it works well enough. I don't have the strongest grip, but not weak either (yet), and I was able to hold my cast iron skillet stably enough without worrying about it slipping, spilling, or dropping. I'm not sure if my skillet is classified an 8" or a 10", as the usable area at the bottom is a little over 8", whereas the measurement across the top (inside) is 10". (I should look that up one of these days.) I took off a star for it costing around 6 dollars. This should be a 3-4 dollar item, tops. It's silicone, not Kevlar, for crying out loud.

Perfect fit for my small cast-iron skillets and my larger ones which have short handles!! Highly recommend!

It's fine, does what it's supposed to, but it's too short to allow a full grip on heavy pans. Also tends to slip if the handle is at all greasy.

Easy to install. Good heat protection.

Such a simple thing but such a world of difference if using a cast iron pan regularly.

works well, I had burned myself a couple of time picking up pans where the handles were still hot, this takes away the problem, love it.

It gets warm but can handle the pan without oven gloves. Much safer. Recommend! Just wish it yould come with the pan so I didn;t have to go to the trouble of sourcing it separately
