Great product!
It is very nice to be able to see your ball for those early morning tee times. I like that the ball stays lit, unlike other lighted balls I have tried that flash.

Not very happy with this product
The initial hit and glow of the ball was pretty impressive. However, much like that of the previous 'real' reviewers state, the balls 'turn-off' at certain points to where it completely defeats the purpose of the ball's technology. The coating on the balls was complete crap as well! I cut all three balls in less than 4 hits each. Have you ever hit a partially cut golf ball? I really take a toll on your distance ego :-)

Not too shabby
They are good balls for any, not very lit course at night or morning tee time. Only a few flaws such as, on one drive with my buddies burner the contact created an ear piercing sound, another would be the ball lights up for 8 minutes from the first point of contact. So if you make it to the next hole with out it shutting off, be aware that the LED might shut off soon. But overall the ball is solid and is easily seen whether it lands on the fairway or rough!

Not worth it
They hit like rocks, and after about 50 swings they started malfunctioning and turning off as I hit them, forcing me to look for translucent balls in the dark. Way too expensive for the lack of durability. Would not recommend

Pros and Cons
This is a cool product. I am not a great golfer, perhaps a year seriously into the game. The ball glows, brightly enough to find it when you send it that way ===>I will not hit my driver or hybrids with them as they are seemingly very, very hard and I don't want to destroy hundred dollar clubs on a 20.00 pack of balls, so we use them only on the executive par three course for night golf now.ProsThey glow underwaterThey hit O.K. with irons but feel "hard"Stay lit for an accurate 8 minutes from initial impactThere is Green Blue and White (Green is the brightest in my bunch)They should Glow after the led is turned offConsStay lit for an accurate 8 minutes from initial impact (see story)They do not re-activate upon impact (see Company Response)They do not glow when the LED is turned offThe Con story.I hit my first ball on the big course under the moonlight, 3iron (start the counter) pals hit also and we went walking.. a few poor shots later we hit our third shot and the ball went into the forest and then the light went out. The problem is that the ball lights up on the first impact and the starts the counter, and subsequent hits do not reset the 8 minute clock. So please keep that in mind if you wish to purchase. The Company Response(Sun Products USA) sent me this as a response which I believe is indeed fair."We understand your complaint, it is kind of a trade off. We do have some re-trigger balls that continue to re-activate upon impact. But the problem has always been that this electronic absorbs the battery too quickly and has a tendency to stick and burn the ball out very fast. With the SuperNova we have corrected that by putting in an 8 minute cycle time and have a phosphorescent coating around the ball which enables the player to still find the ball even when the LED is extinguished. This makes for a real quality product that lasts much, much longer."So. If you get the SuperNova like I have and they do not glow after the led turns off, send them back as defective so you do not loose them. If you push them in the water I am sure you can find snorkeling gear on amazon. No one will see you anyways, as it is dark out.I hope you find this humorous and informative, as I enjoyed writing this as much as I like this product.Regards,

Great product; Honest Company
I purchased the 3-pack of light up golf balls for a Christmas present and when we finally took them to go play, the first ball that was hit didn't light up and, being new to the game, we failed to find our sliced shot. The other two balls lit with absolutely no issues and we were able to finish our game even though it was dark.Because I felt the pack was so expensive, I contacted the company to voice my complaint. Sun Products USA did what I think few companies care to do: they emailed me back almost immediately with an apology and wanted to replace my failed product. Clearly, Sun Products USA cares about their customer and that will keep me coming back to their products.

Poor Quality
Ball lit up OK but would not reset with next hit so ball would disappear in fairway while walking up to it. Also ball cut after about 10 hits (using only irons on par 3 course). I have not cut a ball in over 20 years. Nice novelty (like exploding golf ball), but not for a real game of golf.

I can find it in the dark
This ball lack a little feel, but it is easy to track through the air and find on the ground, in the rough or wherever it may land. I usually play a Pro V1X, but when dusk turns to nightfall, I turn to the Tracer Supernova.
