Attwood 1733-4 Turbo 3000 Series

Nice little blower. Airflow seems powerful enough. Arrived quickly. Installed easily. Actually a tad smaller than my original one. Two wires, colors matched. Not too loud. Just make sure the fan is sucking the vapors out of your bilge, not blowing air into the bilge.

Newer version of the same model of the Blower Model Attwood 3000 in my boat. Slight differences in the unit - Old unit had an arrow on it with Air Flow indicating how you should install it. The refreshed version does not have an airflow indicator. Here is a hint, motor towards the direction you want the air to move towards, fan blades towards the air source you want to ventilate. This is the only reason I am knocking off 1 star. Fan is much quieter and pushes more air volume out than the worn out unit I replaced.

The blower has a sturdy housing, I'm really impressed how much air it moves. It comes with a good , well written manual. It is rated at 2.5 A @ 12V and sure enough it draws exactly that. It moves so much air I decided to run it at 7V 1.5A which was plenty for me. I do agree with the other reviews that the fan is noisy.

It does what it’s supposed to

This fan moves some air. I live off grid in Alaska and hooked it up to the back of my wood stove to move the hot air, it works! It does make a lot of noise tho, but that’s to be expected I suppose for what it does!

Niet te gebruiken door geluid overlast. Maakt een onnoemelijk lawaai. Zuigt wel heel goed af.

Not silent but these very rarely are, not intrusive, at least I can hear it doing it's job. It shifts air out rapidly as I would expect.

To diminish/avoid fuel vapour lock etc, I adapted this compact rfan to blow outside air onto the Weber carburettor of an oldtimer. I can now retart the engine a lot easier because the temperature of the carburettor is cooler... To make this all function properly, I linked a temperture controller/thermostat which I ordered a the same time.

Great product from Atwood, highly recommend, it’s small and compact but has a strong motor and fan! I will be buying a second one for another purpose in the boat seeing the first one is that good.
