Both the front and rear cameras were easy to install. Hiding the cables was a bit tricky and took some time, but a nice and neat end result. It does require a U3 micro SD card for fast write. Packaging was excellent. So far everything is working well.

I set this up in my lunch hour. Very pleased with dash cam and rear cam. Clear picture at both ends. The app is simple to use and I've had connection issues.

Well built and easy to set up, once it's set up you can just forget about it as it turns itself on and off with the ignition switch. I tried to use my old memory card and the existing power cable from my previous cam, neither worked ,it has to have a U3 memory card and it's own power cable, then it works fine. I've heard people say Nextbase cams take pictures by themselves if the car jolts or bumps, I haven't experienced that yet, maybe I'm just a very smooth driver? Front and back cameras are held on by magnets, makes the front one easy to mount and dismount if required, makes the back one a bit easy to displace, I've had to have a couple of goes at positioning it and it's cable so it doesn't move when I open the back, there isn't much cable between the back camera and the jack plug connection with the power cable which limits the positions the cam can go if you don't want the jack plug dangling down the back window as you can't hide it under the window trim. Mounts are stuck to the window with a sticky pad, these seem very secure but I can't comment on how easy they are to reposition.

I recommend NOT buying the 322gw or possibly any of this generation, judging by other reviews and my personal experiences. TLDR :- The rear camera stopped working after a month. The front camera/unit regularly freezes. The camera regularly fails to start recording automatically as it should. Recommendation :- If you are able to obtain a 312GW (part of the previous generation lineup) I would highly recommend that. It was extremely reliable for me over 4 years with no issues. The only things you will be missing is the rear camera ability and it will be 30fps instead of 60fps. It uses the same power kit. If I hadn't given mine away when i sold my car then I would happily go back to it now. - - - Full Review - - - PROS: - The picture quality is very good, 1080p at 60fps front and 720p 30fps rear and good quality at night. The unit can save each video twice, one as full resolution and the second as a lower resolution suitable for attaching to an email. Handy for quick responses when helping someone who needs the video quickly when away from a computer. You can then upload the full quality video to a file sharing service for them at a later time. Small so can easily hide behind your rear view mirror. The GPS/mount has a easy quick magnetic attach/detach system that allows you to remove the camera should you want to without pulling off the adhesive. CONS:- The camera will regularly stop recording or not start recording when it turns on. This is literally the primary purpose of the device, so it not doing what it is supposed to do makes it not fit for purpose. There is also no warning that this has accrued other than looking at the screen to see if the small record icon is flashing when the screen is turned on. The camera will regularly freeze, IF the camera is recording when this happens then it will continue to do so until the battery runs out or until you turn off your car. But attempting to stop or re-start the recording is not possible. There is no warning that this has happened unless you attempt to push a icon on the screen. The camera sometimes over heats. Not dangerously hot but warmer than i would be happy with if i was the manufacturer. There was no warning of this unless you touch the device. The rear camera stopped working after a month. Not the reliability i would expect for this price or this manufacturer. There was no warning of this until i checked the device for a video and found the rear camera had stopped. What i think happened:- I think next base got too comfortable and started to slack in quality, whilst also thinking it would be fun to add features that nobody was asking for or needed. Nobody needs Amazon Alexa in their dash cam for example (upper models have this for some reason). We dont need the camera to connect to our phone every time it turns on. we dont need touch screen, buttons were working fine. We dont need the dash cam to call 999 when something happens, most good smartphones have that built in now.

Very high quality, nicely made, easy to use, compact and inobtrusive. I have driven over 1 million miles in my career and driving standards never cease to amaze me. Fitted one of these for peace of mind should the worst happen. Although I have not had to use it to provide evidence for any incident I can rely on the device to provide this should it be needed. Also fitted the rear mounted camera. Again, very inobtrusive and works well. Wiring took a little time (2 hours or so) but it is not complicated. Just needs patience to conceal the wires. Thoroughly recommended.

The Nextbase camera is replacing an old UNIDEN Dash Cam from 12 years ago. I have the Nextbase Camera mounted in a Front configuration only know. I am waiting to have the Rear Camera professionally mounted. I have made several short and long trips using the Front Cam Only and I will see a benefit once the Rear Camera is mounted. From my perspective, several people need to consider this investment. The pay back from a single incident where you were hit and not at fault will more than pay for your investment.

Hatte seit Jahren eine Billigdashcam im Einsatz, die auch immer noch funktioniert - jetzt in einem anderen Fahrzeug. Ich wollte aber jetzt eine hochwertige Dashcam (wegen der besseren Bildqualität) mit Zusatzkamera für die Heckscheibe, da die Drängler und Kurzsichtigen gefühlt immer mehr werden. Bin sehr zufrieden mit der Frontkamera, die Heckkamera ist noch nicht eingebaut. Ich bin mir noch nicht im Klaren, wo ich das Kabel nach vorne verlege.
