United States Interactive Talking Map for Kids Over 700 Facts

I got this for my daycare . A 4 year old in my childcare knew his states capitals and other fact . He was so proud of himself.

What a fun way to learn. Since we are all teaching at home today I ordered several different learning items in order to be able to teach my grandchildren. It seemed like for a while all we were doing with math and reading and I wanted to go beyond that. So I ordered this map to start teaching my grandbabies States and capitals it also came with presidents. The day we got it in the mail I had all three of my Grandchildren here, And when they saw it they got really excited. We opened it, added batteries, which do not come with it and started trying it out, before we realized it Three hours had passed and it was three hours of laughing, excitement and some of the best learning that I’ve had with these kids. And my grandchildren are 10 years old eight years old and six years old and we were all working on the exact same thing and all learning together it was wonderful I would definitely recommend this to anybody who has kids that they want to teach, and have fun doing it.

Fun facts on the Presidents poster are interesting, and I have enjoyed hearing. I like everything about the poster except the folded bends in it because of the way it is packaged /boxed instead of laying flat in a box . The company who makes the product, should change this to make the posters perfect. The box it came in was nice though. Same can be said for the United States poster. The bends in the posters are not horrible though, and I knew would likely be in the poster because of the reviews I read, prior to purchase. I am happy the posters work, were easy to hang, and came packaged with the hooks to hang the posters. For those interested , the hooks are attached to a sticky backing . I hung one up and later changed my mind about where I wanted the poster hung. Hours later removed the sticky backing and hook from the wall, then attached to a different wall and room, and worked just fine. Did not damage the original wall or paint, when removed.All in all a good product thus far, minus one star for the bends that come in the posters .I really like the Supplemental Information Guide , a lot of good interesting educational information in it !

Item is colorful and when given as a gift went to a 6 year old who tracks all the states she's traveled to. Very helpful gift.

Love this! Other than it having to be on a hard surface or table bc it’s a little too flimsy (just light & flexible) for our personal style, it’s perfect! Great for geography, Presidential history, etc. So engaging for a wide age range! And I’m a teacher!

I have both the map and the president's hanging in my kids room and I'm constantly hearing them pressing and listening to all the facts. One of their favorites is listening to the national anthem song. They will play it over and over. We havent had any problems with the buttons or anything yet after months of use. It's worth it in my opinion to teach history and geography.

This is well made and is a clever was to teach about the USA. However, the "facts" could be a little more interesting. My grandson likes to use it, but his questions regarding the different states points out the lack of information an 8 yr old is interested in. Such as who settled the area, what kind of animals live in the wild, what to do such as hiking, swimming, etc. I'm probably just asking for more than I should expect.

My son is learning the presidents and gets a kick out of naming them in order. The presidents list that comes with this map is excellent for him, because he can try to name them and then click the president to see if he's correct. He's 3 years old and can name 21 of them in row now. That should tell you how effective these interactive maps are. Better though, he doesn't just know them in order, because of the pictures on the screen, I can show him a different picture of the ones he knows, and he will recognize the president and name them from sight. We haven't worked on the US map yet, too much, but he knows four or five states from that as well. These are phenomenal resources for children and I can't recommend them enough. If you have a little learner at home, these will go a long way for you.For parents worried about yet another toy with extremely loud volume, these have volume controls on them so you can turn them down to a soft tone. With all of the extra information, like the fun facts, adults will probably learn from these too. Enjoy.
