Not for everyone, but I thoroughly enjoy this craft project
I like doing certain types of crafts, such as needlepoint and detail painting sculpted lighthouses. I was on here searching for some art supplies for my Son who sketches and paints a lot when I saw the words "Diamond Painting" I had never heard of it, so I googled it and decided to give it a try. I got this 2 pack at a really good price and I found that I really enjoy it... Sometimes when I'm working on it, 2 hours will pass without me noticing. It's definitely not for everyone... It takes a lot of patience, is very precise and can sometimes feel tedious. I actually had to buy a pair of reading glasses to make sure I'm putting the right color beads on the Squares. The pictures are divided into very tiny squares that each have a letter in it which corresponds to a certain color bead/rhinestone. The picture is protected with a very clingy film, because the surface of the picture is covered in a pretty strong glue, so that once you press the bead onto the surface, it is firmly glued in place. Because of this, I work on mine in small sections at a time and carefully cut away the protective film as I finish each section. I count out the amount of beads I need for a certain letter and place them in the green tray provided. This is where patience is key, because before you can start applying the beads, they must all be in the tray with the flat side down. You then use the pen picker included and press it to the top of the bead, it will stick to the surface (it comes with a cube of a solid glue you press the pen into when it stops picking up beads) Using the pen, you position the bread over the correct square, set it down then press with moderate pressure and I haven't had one single bread so much as move an inch. This particular picture is made up of VERY small squares, so you have to be really Careful that you lay it down just right. It sounds like more trouble than it's worth but for some reason, I REALLY enjoy it. I find it almost therapeutic. And now that I'm done a decent size portion of the picture, I can see how gorgeous and eye catching the finished product will be. I'm going to finish a few for Christmas Presents. I'm not done my 1st one yet, but all the reviews I've read confirm you're provided with everything you need to complete it (including more than enough beads) When you're done, you're supposed to frame it but you take the glass out of the picture frame and you have a breathtaking 3D picture that I can tell is going to look great on any wall.

Addictive. Relaxing. Amazing. Stunning. Instructions in this review.
I saw a suggestion for this on Facebook and thought to myself "That might be interesting." Understatement of the year. It was so much cheaper than I expected and the quality of the piece blew my mind. The canvas is strong and sturdy and yes it is canvas not paper. It maintains its stickiness despite how long it took me to complete the project. The results are far better than what I anticipated. I am working on the first image, it is in progress and have finished "Starry Night." It is easy to do once you get the hang of it and the results are spectacular. I have given these as gifts and everyone I have given them to loves them. Easy to use even though they do not come with instructions (I just Googled them and included them below.)If you're wondering how it works and don't want to Google:Take plastic pen, push pink wax into the metal tips on both ends of pen using fingers or against table top to create a flat tip (Do not use too much wax it will stick to the rhinestones and make a mess)Place some beads in plastic tray provided (don't go crazy) a few of one color to do a small area. Gently shake tray back and forth to get the majority of beads to flip into the ridges flat side down. Using your finger or the tool, push beads together into rows. Then, you can pick up individual beads one at a time with the pen end or three at a time in a nice neat row with the wide end.Remove corner of paper to reveal small working area. Stick beads to paper incoordinating spots. Repeat process.Keep tweezers nearby for finicky beads and misplaced beads.Relax, don't get stressed out. It's not supposed to be perfect it's supposed to be fun and relaxing.

Too few drills
There were not enough drills to complete. They are not marked with the DMC chart numbers so trying to match them to other drills wasn’t possible. Totally not pleased.

Relaxing New Craft!
Why are these so fun? When I came across this twofer and it was Van Gogh I had to purchase it. The colors are vibrant and the choice of Van Gogh’s works are pretty cool. I’ve never done these diamond art crafts, but really enjoyed it.They came tightly wrapped with everything needed to complete. I really like that the company gives way more diamonds than needed just in case. I didn’t notice any damage to the diamonds either. Each was the same shape and size, with each color being consistent. Starting the project wasn’t hard at all. It’s all very self explanatory.I was amazed at the quality of the sticky background as well. These things aren’t going anywhere and I’m positive they’ll look amazing when framed. The colors look like little jewels when the light hits them as well! This is a great deal with two being included in the price. I’d recommend them to anyone looking for something that takes enough time to relax but not for someone looking for a quick craft. These can take awhile as the diamonds are tiny.EDIT: Finally got around to finishing the first one. It’s been awhile but realized I’m missing diamonds for “Starry Night.” My fault for not looking for a year since my review, but nonetheless disappointing. Concerned the other may be missing diamonds as well now.

Nice set it hard to find the correct size frames.
It’s a nice set of paintings but it’s really hard to buy frames to fit. If I do find them the frame covers the words or they are expensive.

Great value and really nice
These are a bit challenging but turn out great since they are a decent size. I would have preferred square drill but these round drills are well made and very uniform in size so still nice.

Like the finished result but could have been better
I have only completed one of these canvases so far (Starry Night), although I did receive both pictures.First - the good. The images are as shown, drills are mostly good quality & I have experienced no drill popping as yet. All the drills arrived pre-packed in snaplock bags, which was fabulous...however it would have been nice if they'd been labelled with the same number as was on the canvas! Then - the bad.The canvases were folded when posted, so arrived badly creased. Ironing didn't remove all the creases. This only improved due to the weight of the drills flattening the canvas out when completed.Areas of Starry Night had no adhesive and I had to attach the drills with glue. This wasn't a large area but, to be honest, there should be no areas like this at all. I am unsure if the other canvas is the same.Starry Night was relatively easy to read but the river canvas is so poorly printed that I am unable to read it. This is because many of the letters are black on a dark background and are unreadable. I will have to use a light pad along with a magnifying glass to read it.Finally, the river canvas was badly hacked when cut from the canvas roll and will need tidying up when framed. Not a big deal but a little care goes a long way.I love the finished result of Starry Night and I will attempt the other canvas once I have a better way of seeing the canvas while I'm working. I just wish some of the negatives weren't there.
