Do not waste your time on expensive phone cases for underwater photography! These are affordable and work perfectly! We used them for over a week in the ocean and had no leaks and pictures where perfect. Fit my iPhone max perfectly.

We purchased these to use on our beach vacation & we’re very pleased! No water even with great waves & using boogie boards to “surf” them, no sand, great pics & could use all functions & see perfectly through them. No problems with lanyards either. Would definitely recommend!

I gave this JOTO Waterproof Case 4 stars because the product is a really good buy. I bought this in anticipation for a vacation where my phone could have been exposed to water and I thought this would be a better buy instead of getting an expensive waterproof case. This is a pouch and it will fit more than just a phone. My iPhone 6 fit fine and I'm sure it could also fit an iPhone 6+ or even other brand phones. Because this case is a pouch, it just holds your phone and you could still take pictures and text, but the plastic does not lay close enough to the screen to make it easy to do so or use for long term use (this is to be expected). The pouch locks in two places and a band can be attached to it so that it can be carried along a wrist, used like a lanyard, or wrapped around a belt loop for easy storage of the phone (it may be awkward to put in a pocket since the pouch is bulky). The plastic that the pouch is made of is definitely durable enough to withstand some drops and scrapes. It is definitely waterproof and has great use and is definitely worth the price! The reason I decided to not give this product 5 stars was because I didn't have an option to return this product. When I purchased this pouch, I had another case on my phone that was more for protection from drops. See, I only wanted to return it because my previous phone case had broken while this pouch was in transit, so I decided that purchasing a new phone case would be better than having this pouch (as its just too bulky for long term use). When I went to return the item, it said that I was unable to. Amazon usually has a policy that if the item is unused or owned for 30 days or less, then it can be returned. I owned this item without using it for less than two weeks and was unable to return it. Each individual seller has their own reasons to allow returns or not, but it's just unfortunate since I had not used this pouch and now it will probably become a gift to someone else. It is still a great product if you're a person looking for some additional protection for your phone.

2017: I have a serious problem. Again I misplaced the cases from 2015 AND 2016. So, I had to order this case a 3rd time. As soon as it arrived, I found the two previous orders. Duh... Anyway, obviously if I've bought the same thing three times I like it. It keeps my iPhone 7 dry and allows me to voice record notes. I'm sure I will be ordering another one in 2018 when I misplace the three I already have.2016: So, here is my update. I foolishly misplaced this nifty case and when I discovered it missing I had to order a replacement before I took off for Ocean City, MD for my beach vacation. Got the very same model I purchased last year. Still just as watertight and reliable. I use my iPhone to record a verbal diary and even on the beach, in the wind, the audio is picked up just fine thru this case. And, I'm able to take photos thru it just fine as well. So, my addendum review is just as positive as my initial one. A good case.2015: This thing worked great. I used it on a recent vacation to the shore where there was lots of salt water and lots of sand. I had previously had a Lifeproof case for my iPhone 5 but when I upgraded to the 6 Plus and read the terrible reviews of the corresponding Lifeproof case, I went with the JOTO. It was easy for me to use my phone in the case. I audio-record notes and, even in the stiff beach breeze, the phone picked up the sound just fine from inside the case. If I dropped the phone/case into the sand, I just rinsed the thing off and dried it with a towel and the phone was well protected. It is not a sleek case to carry in your pocket. I think of it more as a durable, outdoor protector. For my beach, kayaking and other potentially damp (and dirty) activities, I keep my JOTO at hand.

The case works really well. I tested it first with a piece of paper and nothing happened. From that time onwards I have used it at the beach and in swimming pools and works great.

These worked fantastic for a kayak trip! Took tons of pics with my phone safely inside the pouch. No water intrusion. Pics came out clear!! Couldn"t tell phone was in a pouch!

First, I want to acknowledge that this product *does* keep my phone dry when submerged in water. It works in that regard. Also, my phone is quite old - it's an iphone 7. As such, I still have a home button. I cannot use the home button at all when my phone is in this pouch - so I can't use the phone, and it defeats the whole purpose of purchasing the product. I want my phone with me when I'm in the pool or whatever so I can listen to music, respond to messages, keep timers for sun exposure, etc. The plastic is thick and I sort of have to jab the screen sometimes to get it to respond; sometimes the pressure from my finger spreads out and acts like I'm touching a large part of the screen instead of one spot. So again, not ideal. I also have to take my phone out of its case so that it fits in the pouch? My phone is a standard 5.5 in long iphone 7, it's not an XL. Part of it is the phone case material, but it genuinely will not go into the bag in a way that will let me close it.I'm not returning this product because at the end of the day, I know my phone model is outdated so some of these issues may be related to that, and because the basic function of keeping the phone dry is accomplished. I just can't use my phone at all when I do use this. I really wanted this to be the perfect solution for me, but it's not.
