Used this to finish a tri-fuel conversion of my 7kW generator; I mounted the male end to the input on the generator, and the female end went on the end of the hose from the propane supply. No leaks so far when connected, and plenty of gas flow at high load.As others have pointed out, it really needs to have a cap for the male fitting. The hose I have has a similar male quick-connect already at the far end, and I stole its dust cap to put it on the one on the generator. I then plug the ends of the hose together to keep them clean when I'm not using the hose. But I shouldn't have had to do that.

I used for my natural gas generator, it works great

Most natural gas grills will need a 1/2" supply line from your house. This is the right part, with both the male and female connector and proper covers for when they are disconnected (keeps bugs and water out).

I converted my backup generator for my house to natural gas and needed these fittings they were perfect the price was right the size was right
