Great Valule
Simple to assemble, great value. Only part I wish was different is the top and bottom mounting plates. They do not attach to the post. The plates have a raised punch that the post sit over but not securely. The load is the only thing that holds them in place. The plates are drilled so you can lag them to the structure top and bottom but there is no positive attachment of the plates to the post.

Great value - sturdy
Easy to install is relative :) Put several of these under my kitchen center spine before a remodel as insurance as the original metal posts holding my floor up were rusting. Popped these on solid concrete blocks then screwed them to the joists and then screwed them to the blocks. Be sure and level the blocks and the posts. They feel plenty sturdy. You should probably use a bottle jack to raise the house as using the screws on the jack posts felt 'iffy' as you really had to crank on them to get movement. If you put several in - raise each a little at a time. In my case I was supporting rather than raising so it was a non-event. However once you get everything to the right height I think they would support a bunch of floor weight. I felt comfortable that I had saved a ton of money for an afternoons work and the results look very professional. My kitchen floor is rock solid with no creaks or groans. Great value for the money.

This is the second time I've ordered these!
I have purchased these two different times and am very pleased with how easy they are to use and how sturdy they are! We installed a wood stove in a home with a crawlspace and used these to shore up the floor for the extra weight. This round be be for another area that we want to install a very heavy piece of furniture. I like that they are so easy to install!

You can buy batter, but why pay more?
These are "just fine". Not super-precise construction, so there are sharp edges on the machined metal. The design is dirt-simple and easy. I installed six of them in a couple hours to replace wood posts between cement pads and floor beams in the crawlspace to compensate for ground settling. This cost me about $300 instead of $5000 from a big-name foundation repair company. Also you can adjust them with nothing but a large crescent wrench. I've tried to adjust some of the jacks installed before me (once again, from big-name foundation repair people) and they are frozen in place.

Work well
These work great for augmenting support on a foundation that is starting to sag. It's not a perfect fix, but it definitely beats floors that are sagging to the extent that they are in danger of cracking.
