Fantastic product! My dogs (and their humans) LOVE these!
The media could not be loaded. I wrote this same review for the smaller size (we have both the small and medium sizes), but it applies to both so I'm posting it here as well. We recently got a new puppy who loves to chew on everything (the table, my shoes, our other dogs, etc.). Once we discovered bully sticks, we thought we were home free, but then I started reading about all these horror stories where dogs swallow the last few inches of the bully stick. Sure enough, a few days later, I see one of my other dogs coughing while frantically making chewing motions. I ran over and luckily managed to fish out the last bit of bully just before it went down his throat. If this could happen to my older dog with 13 years of chewing experience, I knew it was just a matter of time before the puppy did the same thing.I started researching safety holders and we actually bought another brand initially (which was twice as expensive). It looked like a corncob pipe and was really heavy. The dogs could no longer carry the bully sticks around in their mouths and they just kind of lost interest in them. Plus, the other safety device had plastic spikes to hold the stick in place which literally broke off after the first use. I just knew there had to be something else out there, so I kept searching and then found BullyGrips. These are the greatest invention ever! First of all, they look cool, like roller skate or skateboard wheels, and come in fun colors. But the best part is that they are sturdy and grip the stick like nobody's business when used according to the directions. (You have to twist the stick, people. Pay attention to the directions!) There are no parts that break off, and the shape is fun for the dogs. Plus, they're light enough that the dogs can carry them around in their mouth. If you give your dog any kind of chew stick, I cannot recommend these enough. We have three BullyGrips at the moment (one small and two medium) but we have 4 dogs, so we'll probably get one more. These are half the price of the competition and work so much better. We'll never use anything else again.

Works and Dog Loves It
Durable and holds the bully stick in place. My dog can't get the bully stick out and she can work it down to the nub. However, she does get Cadet brand bully sticks and has eaten the nubs whole before with no problem.

Great product
Works well, hard for puppies or dogs to remove the bully stick, though equally tough for humans to remove the last inch or so after they dog is done chewing. The hard rubber is great, no need to worry about chipping a tooth on the hard plastic alternatives out there.

Was skeptical about size. Amazing - it works
I’ve tried a few bully stick holders, this is by far the best on Amazon. The problem I’ve found is, bully sticks come in all shapes and sizes. Many people give their dogs all different size sticks as well. My 23lb frenchie will get a 6” bully as a quick treat, sometimes he gets a 12” to spend a few days on. When he’s lucky he gets a 24” which can last a week. That said none of these companies really help clarify what size holder works. Most of the other brands are bulky, big, heavy and oddly enough my dog won’t even touch. One brand was difficult for him to pick up.This designs simple and brilliant. The materials sturdy and not cheap. Gives enough support for your doggo to use it as support with their paws. I’ve already watched mine just roll it back and forth as he’s chewing. Bully stick holder aside, it’s his new favorite toy.So talking about size and fit. What I can tell you is the medium holder fits a 6 inch bulky really easily. the 12 inch bully stick works really well, it can be a bit of a challenge to get in. The 24” is hit or miss. The skinnier sticks will fit. as long as one side gets in, you can pull the holder right down the middle. My pictures: After running this under water, I was able to get a 24” bully stick that was about 5/8 - 3/4 of an inch. The other side of the sick had a fat round nub on it, which wasn’t make it through at all. As the instructions explain, place it on a bit of an angle after running it under water and start screwing the stick into it. It will make its way through and with a little elbowPower you’ll get the holder sliding down right to the center. I’ve found this is the best spot for it.Hope your pup enjoys this just as much as mine did!

Dog luvs it & gives owner piece of mind
Bought this at recommendation of a vet to avoid the choking and GI blockage hazards associated with bully sticks. Terrific device. Rubber has just the right texture & give to work as desired. Seems quite durable, too.Just wet the holder and twist the bully stick into the hole. Let it sit for a few minutes to get the best grip, then give to your pup with confidence! After removing the spent chew, we clean by simply spraying both sides with Dawn Power Wash. Let sit for 5-10 minutes & rinse. It’s now ready for the next use!Notice: We got a “medium” size holder, which works for 75% of the bully sticks we have purchased. If the bully stick is too thin & inserts too easily, your dog can pull it out. For that reason, we have purchased a 2nd holder in “small”. We have needed a bigger size only once, but I solved that by simply narrowing the bully stick down slightly with some industrial shears. If this issue comes up more frequently, I will purchase a “large” holder.Removing the chewed/spent bully stick ends can be accomplished using the technique provided by the manufacturer. Use extreme care to avoid hand injury, as the holder is pretty grippy & removal requires some force. A little water added for lube helps. Also, the bully stick ends can be a bit gross & slimy, but our pup loves them!

Fantastic Purchase!
I am so glad I read the reviews! This has been a fantastic purchase for my large golden bernadoodle pup. This is a high quality product that works exactly as described! Our pup is a vigorous chewer and she hasn’t managed to free a bully stick yet. We purchased the medium holder and use the “standard” and “thick” bully sticks without issue. No matter how close we are or how fast we move, she is always faster! This holder provides so much relief. She loves it too and holds it with her paws to stabilize while she chews (which means no more gummy bits of bully stick on her hair and paws!!). It is worth every penny

Does not fit, USELESS
I bought a pack of 12-15 cm standard thickness bully sticks for my small dog. Wanted to be safe and buy the bully grip. Most of the bully sticks did not fit, I followed the instructions and even watched the YouTube video, they should have fit because I measure them individually and they were all between 5/8" and 7/8". The 2 that did fit were easily pulled out by my little dog the grip was horrible. Would not recommend. Wasted money. Bought the bow wow lab's will see how that works. Another example of cheaper is NOT better

Can't get sick or after use
Was great to give my pup something to hold with her paws when eating a built stick and saves the last piece so no choking hazard. However in not able to get the end piece out so can't use it again

Works exactly as described!
This holder works exactly as described! My pup was able to chew down both sides of her bully stick, but the little piece that remained was secure in the holder. The first stick that I tried to fit was a little too thick so be mindful of the size you purchase.
