Bertazzoni F24PROXV 24 Electric Wall Oven, 2.1 cuft

I did not purchase this on Amazon but from a local appliance store....I've had this oven for about 5 years now and have used it only about 5 times for several reasons....It has not worked properly for most of those years. Had a repair to thermostat on it a couple of years ago and it seemed to be heating up ok for a while. Since I have another gas range/oven and the Bertazzoni does take a long time to preheat it was just more convenient to use the gas oven. I probably only used it one or twice right after the thermostat was replaced. It never baked anything properly ( cookies, cakes etc ). It was used those handful of times just to melt cheese on nachos or reheat pizza. I went to turn it on today because my gas range oven ignitor needs to be replaced and lo and behold the Bertazzoni did not heat up. Called up the company and was told it was out of warranty and the most it could do was send a part. This Bertazzoni was a total waste of money. It sits in my custom made island and is used as a very expensive clock and kitchen timer. I would never purchase another Bertazzoni nor recommend this brand to anyone!

I purchased this oven and the accompanying convection/microwave four years ago. It was purchased primarily as it would fit in the area where the old oven went.Until COVID-19 the oven did not get much use. Since then it has been a workhorse. Yes the temperature setting is mostly a guess. There are many settings other than bake that i have no idea of how to use. The same goes true for the convection/microwave. We did get a lightning strike once that fried the board in the microwave but the distributor for the manufacturer provided the part at cost despite the warranty having expired.Both ovens are very easy to clean inside and outside. They look very good. The insulation is very good and it does not heat up the kitchen. My experience with ovens is not deep, but this oven and its microwave/convection buddy have been heavily used and abused without a hiccup. And it is less expensive than a Miele which seems to offer similar performance specifications. It rates 5 stars by me.

The problem is the door doesn't fit and the unit doesn't hold the heat. I have been calling the company and they have come several times to no resolution. this has been going on for 2 years. I contacted the company and they we no help and continue to not call back. My solution is to wedge a pole from the kitchen island to the oven door to hold it shut.the positive is that I love my bertazzoni cook top

Bought product over a year ago. The door is faulty and refuses to remain shut. The oven is nonfunctional. Also the light will remain on unless taped shut. The overall quality of this oven is subpar.
