Arguably the best dry kibble cat food for any age cat. Hill’s science diet may be better for specific reasons or illnesses and freshly prepared foods from places like FreshPet will still be superior but too expensive for daily use especially with multiple cats. I’ve used this brand for 4-5 years and it is very high quality. The difference between using a mid level brand to Wilderness is huge. Their coats become thicker and longer, increases in energy, good digestion, and even healthier teeth. Biggest reasons why this is better: 40% protein so it’s no fillers or unnecessary crap. No by-products or chicken meal type ingredients which you will find in EVERY other brand and often at 30% or lower protein even for big name brands. Blue buffalo has lower tier products that are not as good with lower protein. The “Wilderness” brand is their high end product. Their chicken, salmon, duck flavors are interchangeable and won’t upset your cats stomach to switch between. Don’t pay full price this product is often discounted either directly or as combo or multi-buy deal. Full price is nearly $5/pound but if you watch the prices can get $2-3/pd or around $35 for a 11 pound bag. Worth the price even if you’re stuck paying full freight.

More protein cats need, no grains they don't. After switching to this, my cats' coats are noticably softer. Switched my mom's cat over to this and his flaky skin is almost completely gone. All of them seem to really like it.

They come running for dinner and are excited when their mail comes for them. It’s so cute. They’re both healthy and not overweight too. Good nutrients for good value.

Bought this because the vet said that my cat needs more protein. So this is a high-quality product with high protein. The cat likes it, so I'm happy. Just don't like them leaving the food in the mailbox here where it's 110 degrees during the day. Maybe it doesn't matter but I doubt that it's good for the food to sit in that heat. Everything else I get from Amazon comes to my door and I retrieve it right away; but this is shoved into my mailbox at the front of the complex

This has been my go to dry cat food for 2 cats. Seems like a decent cat food. I certainly wish it was a little less expensive.

Bought this on a clearance rack at wally's world to see if the cats would like it. They seem to love it and it's much better than the cheapo brand they used to insist upon (the McDonalds of cat food). Now we keep a bowl of this out and then feed them wet food a couple times a day and they are happy as can be. The food doesn't stink like seafood and the nutritional label is a lot better than Purina stuff, etc. Our cats prefer this over Purina One which they got hooked on when my sister stayed with us and fed them some.

Good food. This type of Wilderness Chicken food did not give any of my cats an allergic reaction. The same food, but labeled Indoor and in a 15 lbs bag gave two of my cats an allergic reaction.
