Plastic Female Mannequin Flesh Tone + Base (#1)

It is ok mannequin but that arm sticking out and the leg bent........that is a problem for me. Plastic, not a very good quality, it is ok, but that arm and a leg are killing my clothes.

The mannequin arrived promptly (just three days after I placed my order) and seemed to be well-packaged. It was easily-assembled (took 20 minutes or so) and although this isn't a high-quality mannequin such as would be found in a department store, nevertheless it is good enough for my purposes. The mannequin is very lightweight, making it easy to move, while the glass stand is heavy and stable. I am also pleased that I got a long, dark-haired wig, since buyers don't get to choose and I was hoping for long hair. The only negative (and the reason I am only rating it 3 stars) is that one of the breasts is dented in front. I don't want to hassle with trying to return or exchange the mannequin so I am keeping it as-is. However, were I to use it to model a garment such as is seen in this picture it would be a problem, as the dent would be very noticeable. This mannequin is priced quite a bit lower than most of the other full-body mannequins I found online, so perhaps one should expect such things, but still I am somewhat disappointed. EDITED TO NOTE: I did end up notifying the seller about the dent, since it really bothered me. I was hoping to get a new torso piece, but they offered instead to give me a partial refund if I wanted to keep the mannequin as-is. I stated what amount would be acceptable to me and they agreed and I received my refund promptly. They also gave me a tip on how to repair the dent (which I haven't yet tried). So overall I am very pleased with the mannequin and the seller and have upgraded my rating to four stars.

This is a lightweight plastic female form, with a pose-able head and glass base. I've worked with fiberglass mannequins for many years in retail that are too heavy, easily scratched and difficult to move. This mannequin has none of those issues. I love that the head can be turned left and right and also slightly tilt and up and down. Very light and easy to move. The face is wonderful and has lashes and nice make-up that can go from a day to night look, just depending on the clothing. Head removes for ease of placing clothing. I cannot believe how inexpensive it was. *Things that some might want to know: The hands do not turn at the wrists, the fingers are not separated, cannot wear shoes with a big toe strap, cant attach earrings and no instructions (not really needed). *Wish it came with the show size in the info (unless I missed that somehow). This is a Great Buy - Worth all 5 Stars!!! (great for photoshoots!)

This is cheap and not put together well at all. The only parts I did not have trouble with was the bottom base which is a solid piece of glass and its the only quality about it.

My only complaint is that the arms come off too easily when trying to dress and undress her. But that's not a huge problem. The pros far outweigh that one little con. I have used the heavy mannequins for years in my eBay business. Never again! She is so lightweight and easy to move around. I love that her head can move around from side to side. I would recommend to everyone. Great price, too, and she came with a wig.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! First off, they show both the 5' 8" and 5' 10" versions of this line of mannequins in the pictures (this took me some hours of investigative internet work to figure out). One has heavy eye make-up and the other doesn't. Mine arrived looking like a cheap imitation Barbie doll with scuff marks all over the foot and completely different eyes with terrible slapped on paint. I contacted them they have been playing games with me ever since. They want me to pay for sending it back and then wait on a refund? Shame on Amazon for using such a company!

If you do not mind her falling to pieces this is the one for you. I needed light weight, but she is alot less stable than i can use. Not their fault, it is what I bought. But when she exploded arms and legs akimbo on the floor and her head went rolling, I laughed so hard I almost peed my pants. Worth the money for a great laugh!! Good to put one outfit on and let her stand there, but NOT too good for multiple changes of clothing. The way she connects together is not very stable.

Ever since appearing at my front door, my Roxy mannequin has been a wild child. She was immediately trying on all my clothes (her proportions are amazing and can make anything look good), scaring unsuspecting visitors to my house, and posting selfies on the internet. She is light as a feather and her parts all dissemble for convenience and mobility. I will say after a few nights on the town being a little too friendly after one too many, her joints started taking a hit. I can recommend putting some tape around the joints for a more snug fit. You will hate trying to get these arms fastened on there, but you can't having her falling to pieces in public. Immodest. Being a mannequin hobbyist is not for the feint of heart. You think you will get used to her being in the other room over time. You won't. You will probably scream about a home intruder more times than you'll care to admit. On the flipside, she is quite the unintentional home invasion protection. Put this by your window and your would-be robbers are suddenly not so sure your dwelling is a good target. She is also an excellent musician, and has provided hours of use as a guitar and keytar stand. For enough publicity she will stand in for your band as the bassist you can't seem to find. She likes clever pop and synth heavy rock. Her glass base will be more at home in a store or domestic setting. If you try to use this on, say, a moving platform or off-road trail, it's not going to hold up. Lucky for you, the stand that hooks into her ankle is easily removed from the glass base and can be screwed into something more sturdy. Lastly, this mannequin is going to make you a lot of friends. People will come out of the woodwork to join your mannequin bandwagon. Perhaps this is why you were interested in pursuing her in the first place. Nevertheless it's prudent to consider what kind of social, emotional, and financial investment you're making when you inevitably make this purchase. It could be the best buy of your life.
