Charlie Brown Christmas [Blu-ray] [US Import]

An all-time favourite: Linus reciting The Xmas Gospel. Heart-warming, even if you are not a devout believer.

Charlie Browns Christmas is the perfect Christmas movie. It's for adults and children. The bluray picture looks very nice. I've always liked Charlie Brown and this movie is my favourite. There aren't many movies that are actually about Christmas. Many movies just happen to take place at Christmas. Charlie Browns Christmas comes from a time when film makers weren't inhibited by political correctness and extols the value of Christian ideals. What else would one do at Christmas? All of those who think Christmas is just an excuse to spend money they havemt got and buy presents just to keep up with the Joneses should watch this and understand what Chirstmas is all about. Watch, enjoy and learn. Charlie Browns Christmas is a rare gem. It's balanced with a beautiful jazz soundtrack that sets the mood throughout. Perfect.

I love this movie, but had to buy the USA formatted version which I can only watch on my Mac. I can’t understand why this wonderful movie ( & others in the Charlie Brown series) are not available in area 2 format for Europe. I 1st saw ‘A Charlie Brown Christmas’ on BBC television in 1975 & hoped to be able to purchase it but in the end the area 1 format is the only one available. Real shame as I’m sure there are many people in Europe who would buy it.

I remember watching this when I was a kid in Boston. I think I enjoy it even more now that I'm older and can appreciate its beautiful protest against the commericialization of xmas. The soundtrack by Vince Guaraldi is also a must-have for jazz fans.

Couldn't watch it as I bought area one by mistake. Bought it on Amazon TV for £2 and enjoyed it, but it was short.

El costo tal vez es un poco elevado pero por la presentación vale la pena, pensé que solo venía la caja de plástico y viene cuidada con una de cartón, me encanto ese detalle. Si te trae recuerdos y la quieres para colección súper.

peanutsキャラクターがたくさん登場する作品。ヴィジュアルで楽しむ部分は他のpeanutsビデオに比べたら少ないかな？と思いますが、こんな風にクリスマスを過ごせたら楽しそう。みんなで劇の練習をするもなかなかまとまらないのはいつもの通り。チャーリーブラウンの持ってきた「本物の木」を皆でデコレートして囲んで歌うクリスマス。日本の賑々しいクリスマスもいいけど、このビデオを見ながら家族とクリスマスをしんみり、じんわり過ごすのもいいのではないでしょうか。

Its just a good Christmas movie very contemplative by the author.

I know These dont play on Australian region 4 players so get a multi xode dvd player first they are not expensive. The watching quality of this 1965 cartoon is excellent in blu ray. But the packaging is crap for a very high price . The box came all squashed . Thankfully the disc was okay. I will go and buy a decent box . For the price that is unnaceptable

El primer especial de "Peanuts" llevado a la television en los '60s! Y nos sigue llenando de genuinos sentimientos de nostalgia y amistad para esta temporada de Navidad. La musica, llevada con casual genialidad por el Vince Guaraldi Quartet, es el sello perfecto para esta clasica joya animada. Muy recomendable para familias en general y seguidores de la pandilla de "Peanuts".
