You're going to need to buy more 22 long rifle
Back in the before times the limiting factor was when my thumb wore out for loading magazines. This makes going through well when I first got it a brick of 550 an easy task. Now you'll go through two of these inflation driven 300 round bricks easily. It really does work as advertised My first one lasted for probably 15,000 rounds before just kind of getting gunky I probably could have cleaned it I probably could have lubricated it but for the price I just bought two more.If you have a compatible pistol this thing should just be in your bag and it's a no-brainer hell Ruger should just tell them with their pistols to be honest or the ammo manufacturers just give them out for free because you're going to shoot so much more ammo haha

Excellent product.
I bought this to use with my Ruger 22/45 pistol. Once adjusted, it loads all ten rounds fast and with pain free fingers. Definitely worth the price. I ended up shooting way more ammo than i expected to because reloading the mags was so easy. I recommend adjusting the screw for the follower knob out enough so that it loads the mag full and drops an extra round out onto the bench, that seemed to work best.

it does work
do yourself a favor watch a couple youtubes on how to use this loader. It does work well, its does speed up the process of loading mags. there is a small learning curve to using it but after a few try`s it works pretty easy. the only real complaint i have is the hopper could hold more rounds if it was larger, lol. seriously you can reload and shoot a few hundred rounds in under an hour easy. that means refilling the hopper 5 or 6 times. i found not filling it to the very top allows the rounds to move and line up faster than if its packed full. oh and also annoying is an extra round often will fall out after a mag is full, might be cured by a depth screw adjustment though. not at all a big deal. going to reccomend this to those who shoot or want to shoot more at the range as this will save your thumb and increase your ability to get more shooting in a given amount of time.

Love the concept - long term reliability could be better
Supply chain issues and high prices of the last decade have forced a move to cheaper practice fodder. The tedium of feeding single stack clips with fiddly little cartridges gets old fast. Enter the Ultimate Clip Loader. I've had three. When they work they are a joy. Less finger pain and more trigger time is always a boon and is realized when you first get the McFadden. Its night and day difference during range time. Less fatigue, quicker range sessions are yours with this device. However, in every case it is just a question of time before the loader starts to renege on its promise. I've never had it last past 5000 rounds. If you go through a brick a month, then you'll need to order another within the year. I'm enjoying this latest one until it too quits and then I'm bundling them all up for a trip back for evaluation. Perhaps there are adjustment instructions to restore these handy devices to their former efficiency and once-esteemed position.

Ultimate Cliploader Works as Advertised...
In addition to the pistols listed, this loader works with the Ruger Mark 4 series of auto loaders. With it four clips can be loaded in just a few seconds, saving both time and thumb skin! The clip for a Mark 4 has to be manipulated by using to press downward on the button on the side of the clip. Loading a few clips can cause some pain, unless this loader is used. No pain and all fun shooting. The loader is adjustable. If the loader does not load exactly ten bullets into your clip, then all that is needed is to turn the adjustment screw out a bit. If an 11th bullet falls out when the clip is loaded, turn the adjustment screw in a bit. Sometimes if the clip does not load completely, even if adjusted correctly, the clip may need to be "pumped" a little to get the bullets to load. The loader holds up to 50 bullets, and can load them just about as fast as clips can be inserted. Just be sure to read and follow the clearly written and illustrated instructions.

Does not work!
Nice idea, not sure how they got them to work in video. I played around with one for a good while and gave up. I can load MUCH faster using a simple loading tool to hold the follow down. This is why I do love Amazon. Get something like this that looks good, and does not work? Easy to return. This is a waste of money to bother with sadly, really wanted it to work.

works great !!
works great if you read adjustment and lube info that comes with itthis loader works well ONLY when wet with lube like Rem Oil or Silicone lubeyou spray a shot on ammo in the hopper and adjust the screw for the mag button and it works 100%

The best way to clean is to take it apart and ...
First one I bought in 2011 required some adjustment when I got it but this one kicked in 10 rounds the first thing! I shoot once a week so I think I can claim to be an expert on them. When I get through shooting I clean my guns and then the loader. The best way to clean is to take it apart and wipe with an alcohol pads and then polish the tracks with a kleenix. Yes, polish!Copper toped ammo does work better and leaves less residue behind. My goal is to get 10 OR 9 rounds each time.Problem: Bring lots of ammo to the range! You won't be standing around loading the mags.(I shoot Mark 3, SR22, Charger 22, Ruger 9, and the little Ruger 380.)Update 8-26-19.Still using the loader every week. Still cranks out 9 or 10 every time. TIP: Adjust the end screw to kick our 10 and glue the end screw in to keep it from moving in or out. I still clean it after every use.
