One good, one great
I bought one a year ago for my bedroom and it was fairly easy to put together, just sort of tricky to line up the slots and posts when installing the blades onto their shaft. Love the remote, though it’d be nice if you could make it oscillate or stop via remote (it’s a manual pull like most fans). It’s just a little noisy sometimes, like maybe some of the pieces are vibrating against each other or aren’t fully fit together correctly (could be my fault).I bought another one this year after moving some rooms around in my house and this one is nice & quiet. Glad I got this one again. 5 stars despite the first one being a little noisy.

High Quality, Long lasting, at a reasonable price. Great fan!
High Quality, Long lasting, at a reasonable price. Great fan! Over the years, I have bought these for rooms in my home, office and garage. They are powerful, reliable, easy to clean, and versatile for a number of situations. Highly recommend. Amazon has a competitive price with the big box stores and this is a great value.

Keeps Things Cool and Comfy Outside!
This outdoor fan is awesome! It’s perfect for those hot days when you just want to hang out on the patio without sweating buckets. It’s pretty powerful and moves a nice breeze that really helps keep the air fresh.I like that it’s easy to set up and feels sturdy enough to handle outdoor use. Plus, it’s not too loud, so you can still chat or listen to music without any issues. If you want to stay cool while enjoying the outdoors, this fan is definitely worth checking out!

Great fan with mid base
Ok so lets get the bad out of the way and the reason for the 4 stars. I will be comparing this to my broken Honeywell's experience. So far I'm loving this fan but i really didn't like the fact the whole fan is pretty much made out of plastic and the base is big, like twice the size of my Honeywell base. so if you have very limited space in your bedroom like me, make sure you have room for it. So I just took my old Honeywell base from my fan that broke and slapped it on the Lasko. Take notes Lasko if you are going to charge more than Honeywell at least make the base metal, the Honeywell base and construction for the most part is made of metal, feels very solid and not only is it made of metal but at the bottom it screws in to make sure the metal rod doesn't move. with the slight modification this fan is the best thing ever. I wish the whole thing wasn't made out of plastic. Like the fan grills I'm used to having fans that have a metal construction but i decided to take a chance on this anyway but it seems to hold up well so far. Don't bother with the Velcro that comes with the remote, its cheap and it loses its adhesive after 24 hours so get your own Velcro if you need it. Also the remote strength isn't that strong, I tested it by pointing the remote in the opposite direction of the fan and it would not work unless I pointed it directly at the fan but its still nice to have for those days you're feeling extra lazy. lol Also why cheap out and not make the oscillation on the fan a button instead of the old way of waiting for it to move to the right spot and pull the switch on the back, my Honeywell had a button you could just press real quick instead, minor inconvenience to me, maybe I'm just spoiled, its just kind of confusing to come from a fan that was cheaper and used better materials and function for its design. Stay with me though these are just my personal critiques others may not care about at all.Now for the Good.Fan is strong and at setting one it has enough power for my needs, but this thing can go full force and blow a lot of air if you need it too, its much stronger than my old Honeywell and from what I heard Lasko makes really good long lasting fan motors. I like the fact that it has a built in timer for the fan, the Lasko logo looks great. Easy to assemble in a few minutes, I like the larger grill I feel like it pushes more air out due to its design better than my Honeywell. Also if the fan is making weird noise like clicking in the beginning, you might have made the same mistake as me and not put on the center hub that holds the fan blade in place tighter, I had to tighten it as hard as I could to make the noise go away so make sure you don't tighten it too loosely I wont hold that against them though it was user error. If Lasko took some construction cues from Honeywell in the future and opted for more of a metal build their fans would be the best in my opinion but I'm guessing the cost of a reliable motor makes them want to cheap out on the construction of the fan a bit, BUT overall its a good fan and I'm happy with it for the most part. This is my first Lasko fan so I'm hoping it lasts a long time. If you are looking for a fan that blows a lot of air this is for you. Despite my criticisms I'm happy with this fan so far. I hope it holds up well. If you don't mind a big base and the plastic construction you should get this fan.

Great fan, lifesaver!
It’s a pretty powerful fan. It was easy to assemble and it works great. It is very lightweight so it’s easy to move from place to place. I used it on my patio and it helped a lot on a very hot summer day!

This fan is FANtastic!
This baby has power like I've never seen in the smaller Lasko fans.On low, it will blow across a fifteen-foot room and lower the temperature in moments. It comes with a remote (always a nice feature if you're in bed and need to crank it up or lower it without putting your feet on the floor. It rotates if you want it to.One of the best features is the fan tilts up toward the ceiling-- I am telling you, if you have an air conditioner and want to maximize the efficiency, get this fan...aim it toward the ceiling and feel the cool air whirl throughout the room, down the hall, and -- yes! It even makes it cooler in the next room!I had an outdoor get-together on a particularly hot and humid night. One of my guests suggested plugging this fan in outside and putting it on MEDIUM... (High would have blown the dishes off the table)Gamechanger! Everyone was instantly more comfortable, and several were ordering this fan throughout the night! One of my smartest purchases on Amazon. No kidding!

Reliability unmatched.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I bought this fan for my living room but I have an older lasko in my room for sleeping and its ran continuously just about every night for the past 2 years. They are reliable fans, they may seem cheap because they are all plastic but the motor and parts are well made and I put 1 less star than 5 because I felt a little underwhelmed by the power in which this one pushes air... my old one seems to push air stronger funny enough but I am fairly pleased with this purchase and its nice it has a timer and a remote, both a plus. A good classic fan, your money goes a long way with this one.
