Women's Winter Packable Down Jacket Plus Size Ultralight Long Down Outerwear Puffer Jacket Hooded Coat

I got this coat for a trip out West this fall. I picked it for the price and for the fact that it packs up small and is light weight. I ordered a size bigger than I usually wear as I wanted to layer underneath the coat. I was traveling in Utah, Wyoming, and Montana in September so temperatures can fluctuate greatly from sunup to sundown. I used the Obosoyo Women's Winter Packable Down Jacket as an outer layer and wore several layers underneath as I knew I would not need that much warmth all day. I liked the double zipper which allowed me to zip open the lower half of the jacket so that I could take bigger steps. The hood is nice for those days when you forget to grab a beanie. The zipper is easy to use and runs smoothly in its tracks. Some zippers are hard to line up but this one was easy. It is comfortable and stylish. I am unsure how warm it will be in sub-freezing temperatures, but I loved it for fall hikes and neighborhood walks. Fast forward to January and I am still enjoying this coat! It has kept me warm on cold morning walks with my dogs. It does a great job blocking the wind and keeping me comfortable. It has become my “go to” coat this winter. I am glad I purchased the large as it is the perfect length for my arms. I have room to wear bulkier sweaters or shirts underneath. I have broad shoulders and a more narrow body so I love the room the large gives me. I do not feel like i will bust the seams when reaching or flexing.

Bottom line: This coat is warm yet lightweight, flattering, and of excellent quality. I originally bought this in black. LOVED it. Wore it everywhere. It is always flattering. Got caught in the rain while wearing this coat once when I was hiking in the mountains with friends. It was a long wet hike back to the car and I thought I would be soaked through but was pleasantly surprised. I was the only one who stayed dry. This washes well and dries fast. It is very light weight and has just enough stretch to be figure flattering. My teenage daughter stole it so often that I finally told her to take it to college with her and ordered myself another one - in blue this time for fun. The color is vivid and just as pictured. Really happy with the quality of this coat. It has seen a LOT of use and is holding up well. My black one still looks new and is at least a year old with almost daily wear. The zipper is great quality - this is one of the things about a coat I find fails most often but I have had no issues with this one. I like the hood - easy to flip up and keep the rain off and still looks good up or down. Nice deep pockets and an inside pocket on each side. The outside pockets zip, the inside ones are just a three sided square but I find it a good place to store the silky travel bag that comes with the coat - the bag makes it easy to stuff the coat into a small space for packing or carrying around. Keeping the bag with the coat means I can actually find it when I need it, or stow the coat quickly if the weather has a dramatic mood swing. I have had many puffer coats over the years. This coat is a little more expensive than other coats that look similar but the quality of this one is so much better that I feel it is still a better value.

The jacket is as presented. Very similar to the Eddie Bauer jacket I bought at Costco several years ago. I just wish the cuffs were a little tighter, but they are fine otherwise. I love to wear my previous jacket over a hoodie, the perfect weight and warmth for me.

Very lightweight, great quality, stitching is good, zipper is good quality, fabric is nice. Fit is good! Runs true to size.

Who is this keeping warm? This literally says it’s a WINTER coat and it’s paper thin for $70?! I will be retuning immediately. If you are looking for a warm coat for winter, do not waste your time. If you need a spring jacket for a 70 degree day, have at it. It also runs small.

Unfortunately the size chart says its US Size, but its not. I usually wear L-XL and 16-18. But this jacket in XXL is still too small! I got meanwhile the size 3XL which fits like a size 18/20! I got still room for a sweater. There is definitely something wrong with the size chart. And if you are bigger than size 20, the 3XL will not fit you! Please guys, check your numbers, its a nice jacket, but not US sizes! The red is a brownish-dark red, not that attractive like on the picture! The army green is nice, kept that one in 3XL for an Amarican size 18 (XL) - not true to size!

Love love love this for a super lightweight mid thigh length puffy coat. Fits well and is super comfortable. Not sure I would wear it for long periods outside in a Michigan winter but it’s a great coat to toss on and run errands and be casual. Easily compressible so it will pack well too

So very soft, warm and love the rich burgundy color. I am 275 pounds and the XXXL is a little big on me. That's OK because I can wear it over anything. The dual zippers allow me to unzip the bottom of this longer coat when I am driving. I like the deep dual inside pockets and the zipping exterior ones. I can fit my larger cell phone in there and zip them. Believe it or not it does still stuff down into the travel bag they provide and it is only about the size of of oranges! I liked the try before you buy feature though it didn't take me the full week to fall in love with this coat.
