Deulen Glass Lapping Plate

I read the reviews and for the money and the capabilities the length gives you I figured what do I have to loose. One grit is not usable because of a sticker in the middle of the section so I will have to replace it but other than that I do like the setup. The sandpaper isn’t the greatest for wear but it is holding up. I can see the grains breaking down after 3 sharpenings

I think this will work well to help me flatten my larger planes. I am a dummy but the pictures show it with sand paper and I thought it was how you can set it up. but it comes with sand paper pre installed which was a little more work to get off so I could cover this bad boy with 80 grit.
