DIY HYDROPONICS: System Buildrs Guide

This is a nice detailed layout of the different systems that can be made in hydroponics. Only reason I gave it a 4 instead of 5 is I would have liked slight more detailed instructions on a few of the parts and grammatical errors drive me crazy lol over all good book though with great picture examples

If you would like to build your own hydroponics, this would be great. The only reason that I gave 4 stars it was a few errors and a couple items could of been a little more easy to understand.

While it is apparent that this book goes for the expensive options The general overall advice and tone of this book is very good. It will make a great reference for future projects and a good guideline for maintaining my current systems.

It is not the greatest book on Hydroponics I have read but it is still a good read. Sometime just one good idea is worth the price of the book.

The booklet was a little more complicated then I wanted. Although very helpful, I found some of the instructions to be very brand oriented and never discussed either basic type units or commercially available, all-in-one type units.

The instructions for DIY hydroponics is very easy to read and understand. The components are available at your local hardware store like Lowes or Home Depot. My system is set up and producing beautiful new veggies right on my deck in the back yard. The next step is to set up a green house and expand the system from a small Ebb & Flow system to a larger NFT system using Rain Gutters as the flow channel. The book expains each step and is easy to read and follow the instructions.

It is very informational I must say, but I was thrown off by how unprofessional it looks. I feel as if I'm opening up a word document my friend emailed to me. Photos aren't sized, some are too small to see, and others are blown up too large, making them blurry. There are whole pages with just a small picture on it's own! There are grammar errors with letters missing in certain words too. I'm really hoping it's just some error with my computer because selling something of this standard is quite appalling. Keep in mind, the title of this review is "LOOKS very unprofessional." The content however is helpful and thorough. Kudos to the author, but I shake my head to the editor ...if there even was one.

This book gives you information on how to build a hydroponic system for cheap. I would recommend it if you are a beginner and you want to tinker and understand how things work. It only shows building basics not the solutions you need to grow the plants.

For the price I wouldn't bother. although this is a step by step "how to", it may as well been photocopied and put into a shiny cover. Not good value for cash

Habe das Buch in der Hoffnung gekauft, mehr über die verschiedenen Hydrokultur-Anbaumethoden zu erfahren. In diesem "Werk" sind allerdings nur Bauanleitungen zu finden, die im wesentlichen aus dem Zusammenzimmern von Kunststoffrahmen bestehen. Zwei Drittel der meisten Seiten sind leer. Die Bildqualität ist ebenfalls mangelhaft. Alles in allem: Kein nutzbarer Informationsgehalt, bestimmt in sehr sehr kurzer Zeit entstanden.

Information very less for the price offered. It is a thin 100 page book. There is some useful information but not worth the bucks

A good basic introduction into hydroponics as well as building a few basic hydroponic systems.Not for the more advanced hydro enthusiasts out there.
