If you have a case that's designed to provide adequate drop protection for your iPad it will not. I have a Trent case (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HNFPZF0/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and ordered this mount only to have to modify the clamps to make it work.
