This mask is the greatest I've ever owned. Totally helps prevent water intrusion and assists with my use of earplugs due to ear damage from water intrusion during other activities using other masks. Very easy to use and get used to and visibility is great. If that is something you are looking for this is the best mask for that. You should buy it immediately if not sooner.

This will be my second review in 12 years of Amazon purchases. I absolutely love this mask and felt I should pass on some information that might help others. I have a hole in my ear drum that, despite 4 surgeries and lots of time out of the water, will not close or re-appears. This mask is my ticket back in the water (freediving/ spearfishing). My set up: Aquaphore on the hair around my ears to help seal (as I do around my mouth when inhave a beard). I wear a vented ear plug for redundancy in my affected ear. I carefully put on the mask, making sure I don’t over stretch the vent tubes. I check the ear cup masks to ensure they are flat on my head and not caught on my hood. Once I do all that I have no leaks and can enjoy ocean once again. I still need to equalize using a traditional method, but the mask does help make that a little easier. Also, without equalizing, I can get a few extra feet before I feel the pressure in my ears (this isn’t recommended, equalize early and often). I can’t talk to scuba depth, but I have used this mask down to 30 feet. In short, if you get ear infections often, don’t like your ear filling with water, or have to keep water out of your ear for any other reason I highly recommend this mask! After a few uses you get the hang of the setup and it is very easy.

The good news is: They helped the problem I was having with clearing my ears. The bad news is: They were intact for only ONE dive. On the SECOND dive, the tube that connects the ear piece to the main mask popped off the left side. This happened as I was donning the mask. Once this piece is off, water freely flows into the mask. I was hoping that I would be able to reattach the tube, but when it popped off, a small plastic retaining ring came off and was lost in the water. This dive was ruined. After briefly getting the buck passed back and forth between the Amazon store from which I purchased it and IST who manufactured it, I finally got IST to send me the small retaining ring that was lost. Sadly, even with this replacement piece. The tube still will not stay on. I'm just thankful that it did not fail 60' underwater.

I was referred to this version since this mask is better for wider faces. I was looking for a diving solution to keep water out of my ears and IST did not disappoint, just make sure it's on tight enough. Took it snorkeling in Hawaii, no water in the ear cups at all! Couldn't be happier.

On the first trip with these goggles they broke while taking them off. There are 2 tubes connected to the front of the mask and held in place by a flimsy plastic nut. Sadly one of the nuts broke while taking the goggles off - I think it was my 3rd dive with them. When I reached out to IST they told me to send a picture and copy of the invoice which I did expecting them to either replace the goggles or supply a replacement nut. Instead, the IST customer service people told me I need to BUY a replacement nut for $1 but also pay $11 for shipping - unbelievable! I would not recommend these googles as I have to believe I am not the only one to experience this defect. This is no reflection on the retailer who I bought them from on Amazon - just IST's quality and customer service.

I am a DM and due to monthly ear infections I decided to try this mask out. Unfortunately I can't get a seal around the ear cups, so water keeps leaking in. It might be due to long hair, whicha I have tried pulling back in every possible way, but still it's not really working out for me. My husband has gets it to seal better than I do, but he also experiences occasional leaks. Can't say I'm overly impressed, but I guess if you have short hear and a biggish head you might be in luck;)

So this is exactly the solution I was looking for with my ear equalization issues, and it works great for me! The only issue is that on my first dive (in the open water certification pool sessions) I noticed some bubbles coming from the EQ tube on my right side whenever I would breathe through my nose or un-flood my mask using the taught skills, and noticed some water coming into my ear cover (slowly leaked in thank goodness). Turns out, the connector of the EQ tube to the ear cover had split/broke, so I had to use a very temporary fix of underwater/waterproof/survival tape (whatever it is actually called) around the broken piece—which thank goodness, worked just enough through the rest of my course. I would want to replace it or get a full repair before going into the ocean or lakes for true open water diving. **Update: will be ordering another** The pics attached are the right connector and the left connector of the EQ tubes to the ear cover. You can see which one has a space that shouldn’t be there/doesn’t match the other side. I taped over the left connector as well after that incident to prevent/avoid any further issues (because my left ear is my especially bad ear). Very unfortunate, but with the temp fix, it works just enough to continue using it until a replacement can be arranged. Changed review to 3 stars (I would give 3.5 if halves were an option) because it is exactly the solution I needed, and I have zero complaints about the function when it isn’t broken, just disappointing that it broke on the first use and concerned about using it in a real ocean dive situation. (I wish I could contact the seller directly so we could look into replacement/discuss the issue instead of having to go through returns on Amazon)

Actually not very useful bcz the water goes intor ear so everytime u have to remove it to get rif of the water and its too heacy
