Why did you pick this product vs others?:I looked online to see how to fix my microwave. Thus was a simple , cheap fix.

Tried using it for a nichrome wire set up because of it's heat resistance and relatively stable qualities. Didn't work as well as I anticipated, and probably should've used more rigid supports. As for use in a microwave, seems to do it's job. Pretty cheap too, so I'd say a nice purchase for those who need it.

Perfect fit for a Farberware 1000w microwave, same exact size as the original. Easy to install!

Super easy to replace. Took less than 1 min to do. In my case stopped whole issue that started as an occasional bright and loud spark and flame like noise that got more and frequent. You could see on the bad one burn marks. No more issues. Couldn't be happier, thought I was going to need a new microwave as this one was cooking itself, it was just this little shield. Only 1 was required in my install so I have another spare should I need it.

Pretty flimsy to begin with, and trying to cut these two sides just caused from like a surface to crumble so it was tricky to use these in several had to be tossed before we got one to work.
