DW 5000 Turbo Single Bass Pedal

I’m a beginner drummer and this pedal helped improve my timing. Very well constructed. I took my old pedal turned the tension up as high as it can go and use it for an after practice workout. If you’re new to drumming the workout will help too.

Excellent, Pro Pedal! Love It!

I was replacing a very cheap and basic foot pedal that came with a used TAMA drum set I picked up from FB marketplace. I don't think the pedals were TAMA but it was a cheap one. I got this based on my what I am learning being a drummer for 3 years now and finding out more about upgrading my equipment, stands, etc. So the DW pedals have a very high rating and thought to go with the 5000. They make 3000 and 9000 but felt the middle one is good for me. I purchased the Turbo version because of how I play and usually do rock music and a bit of jazz. I do Led Zeppelin songs, and some other songs require fast bass drum speeds. These work really well. The way they feel on the foot is awesome especially with that heel plate. That heel plate is a fantastic feature. You can also tell the quality is really good, the metal is nice and heavy but not too heavy. I do not have anything negative to say about this bass pedal. Highly recommend to any drummer.

Bought this pedal to upgrade the 3000 series I had and so far so good. I like the release, bounce, and it's easier on the heel toe/slide motion when I'm playing fast tempo music.

Been using the 5000 for 5 years now since I switched from the 7000 series. This pedal is a workhorse. I have one that I got with and now I'm getting a second to have at home. The pedal is smooth yet powerful. And it's great value.

I upgraded (side-graded?) from a Pearl Eliminator, which I'd been using for the better part of a decade, because I found all of the endless tweaking options with it's interchangeable cams to be tedious and frankly was just looking for a change. The DW5000 was refreshing in it's simplicity. It's smooth and responsive. A nice perk is that the hoop clip has little rubber feet so that it doesn't scratch up the hoop of your kick drum (unlike the Eliminator).

Die DW-5000 mit konzentrischem Antrieb ist und bleibt die beste Fußmaschine. Die ganzen Direktantriebsteile sind nett, können der DW5000 aber nicht mal ansatzweise das Wasser reichen. Das Spielgefühl ist einzigartig.
