It is one of the sweet treats of all time, the must have gift when someone comes from Venezuela to visit us; they cannot enter our home if it is not with a latica of Pirulin in hand. So the Pirulin Everything began in 1960 when it opens its doors in the Junquito the company "NUCIVEN", which was based on its professional activity in the production of liquid chocolate and white cream confectionery, the bicolour nape jars that we all know from children which we used to buy in kiosquitos. In the year 1980, after moving the factory of Nuciven to the city of Maracay, two new products, Pirulin and Nucicao drink were born. By the year 1982, once the Pirulin had been established on the market, they decided to make new releases of different versions of this same product, which is how the coconut pirulin and the mini rounds appears; and a little later, the chocolate coated Pirulin waffles. Sincerely there are many of these products that I personally didn't remember them, perhaps they took them out of the market before I had use for reason or just my memory couldn't remember them; but what if I assure them, is that I didn't forget about the classic Pirulin of life. For more I try similar products, with quality chocolates and super crunchy waffles, nothing resembles Pirulin. It may be because there is really nothing like this or because sometimes memory is such a powerful force that makes us remember things, smells or flavors in an idealized way.
