When I was going thru my organization craze, I purchased several Alegory items and this was one of them. I have a love for makeup and have more than the average person, so buying these organizers was a great decision.This organizer I use for my compacts. There are 8 slots for products. This gets the job done, depending on what products you have to store. I do wish the individual slots were slightly wider to accommodate all my compacts, but I had to just overlook that and figure out a way to store those compacts that did not fit. This list is not exhaustive, but just to give an idea of what kinds of compacts will fit and will not fit: it will easily accommodate the compacts: mac studio careblend, buxom compacts, nars (if turned vertical), and mac skinfinish compacts (ie bronzer). It will NOT fit the bobbi brown compacts or the MAC studio fix compacts -the slots are not wide enough.The color I chose was the solid black (not the transparent black) and I love that color. It looks nice and sleek.Overall, I recommend this item. However before purchasing, I think you should compare your compact sizes to some of the ones I listed above, to make sure that the bulk of what you want to store will actually fit in this organizer.

A little pricey in my opinion for what it is, but I can't deny it works very well and looks good on my vanity. Price is why I docked (1) star, but even the price wouldn't keep me from repurchasing if (and when) needed. The largest items I have in it are a MAC blush from the Simpsons collection (larger than their regular blushes) and an Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder. With the HG powder, I did have to turn it on its side to fit but it does fit.

Absolutely perfect acrylic compact organizer. I purchased 2 of these, only to get them and realize that the drawers I currently hold all of my cosmetics in are too small to hold these organizers. :(BUT, they are so perfect that I absolutely will not send them back. I will hang onto them until I can get bigger storage, because these organizers are by far the best I have ever come across. I will be ordering the lip gloss and lipstick organizers by Alegory for my next purchase.

It's ok just doesn't fit my MAC compacts. It does fit the blushes.

Only fit like blushes and small compact make up. Does not fit Mac powders.
