Dashpoint 30 is excellent for hiking with a mirrorless camera
Perfect for hiking with a mirrorless camera! I wanted a case for my Sony alpha A6000 and the power zoom kit lens so I could have it handy while backpacking. I did a lot of research and ended up choosing the Dashpoint 30. I just used this for a 4 night trip over 47 miles and it was great! It was a good fit for my camera with lens attached. There was enough room for my wrist strap to be tucked in behind the camera also. And I kept a gallon sized ziploc bag tucked in next to the camera as well; in case it rained I wanted some extra protection available. You could probably tuck a 3L dry sack in there for the same purpose. The material seems durable and it seems to have the right amount of protective padding without being too heavy. The velcro straps are uniquely brilliant, as you can strap it to a waist belt or a vertical strap. I tried it strapped to my shoulder strap and that was pretty good, just a little awkward when putting my backpack on. My pack has some loops on the hip belt where I ended up strapping this, and that was perfect. My camera was very easy to access. My minor complaints: I wish they offered it in more colors. Some pleasant bright colors would be nice to make it stand out in case you have it sitting on the ground or something. I'd buy another one if they came out with it in purple or teal. I also wish it had a slightly larger pocket inside for a spare battery. Let's be honest, that is what I need more than a pocket for a memory card, since I can get high capacity cards but battery is more of a concern for a multi-day trip.

Olympus Trip 35 review
A few mm longer than necessary for the Olympus Trip 35 but otherwise a good fit. I ended up keeping the large Amazon Basics bag instead since I like a slightly less puffy look (see my review of that bag), but this has a more polished look.

Perfect size for Sony RX100 VII
I gambled on this hoping it would fit my Sony RX100 VII and it is a perfect fit. It fits so well I can only assume Lowepro used the RX100 as the reference camera size when creating this bag.I do a lot of hiking and traveling and sometimes when we won’t be back to our hotel (or cruise ship) for a while I like to carry a small backpack for snacks, souvenirs, etc. I specifically wanted this little camera bag because of the unique strap mounting options on the back side of it - in particular I wanted to be able to attach this to my backpack shoulder strap so I could grab my RX100 VII without having to take off my backpack. It has several mounting options, one being a Velcro strap. It works perfectly for what I wanted and the price was right.5/5 for durable materials, quality construction, and thoughtful design.

NEX-3N with 16-50 lens fits. Also fits 5N with 16-50, but not with flash attached. 5N with 16mm lens fits with flash.
I have both a NEX-5N and a 3N, with 16-50 power zoom lens and a 16mm pancake lens. I had hoped to use this case for the 5N with 16-50 lens, however with the flash attached this setup will just not work. The 5N with 16mm lens will fit with the flash attached, but not with the 16-50 lens. The 3N fits nicely with the 16-50 lens, though. The 3N has a built in pop-up flash, which does not get in the way. It is a very tight fit regardless of the setup. This case is very well made and offers a good amount of protection. I love the versatile belt loop -- it can be attached to both vertical and horizontal straps. The velcro closure for these things seems very secure. The loops to attach a strap, however, are just thin fabric loops (which is why I'm only giving this case 4 stars instead of 5). I'm not thrilled with that. I have a slash-proof security neck strap, but the thin fabric loops could be easily cut. Of course, a thief would have to be very precise, but still. I have no idea how well these loops will hold up over time. I would want to modify these with some sort of metal (although I can't sew, so I probably won't ever do anything). Instead of using these loops, I have been attaching the secure camera strap on one side of the camera (both ends are attached to the side that is on top when the camera goes in the case, then zipping both zippers up to the center point. The camera strap sticks out through the small opening and I use that to carry the camera around. It's been working pretty well. For added convenience, I attached a small wrist strap from the camera to one of the fabric loops on the case, so when I take the camera out the case dangles from the wrist strap -- this way I won't lose the case when I take the camera out, since I'm not using a strap attached directly to the case.Anyway, if you use a 3N with 16-50 lens (or any smaller lens), a 5N with 16-50 lens and you do not like to use the flash, or if you use the 16mm pancake lens with the 5N (with or without flash), then this case is perfect. It is the most compact case I've found so far for this camera, and it's very well made.

Perfect fit for EOS-M w/ 22mm or legacy lens on adapter!
The headline says it all. It looked a bit bulky when I first saw it, but the interior is actually just right. It looks bulky because the padding is so generous. That's good - that means my little camera is now very well protected! It is also relatively inconspicuous and handier than ever. When out roaming with a different system, this will make a perfect lens bag. I was looking at getting some kind of photo vest, but I think instead I'll just get another one of these! My only concern is that the belt and backpack strap loops are open-ended, secured with velcro. Hopefully they'll be reliable - time will tell...EDIT: the belt loop has proven to be quite reliable. It's been on a few strenuous road trips without the slightest sign of the velcro ripping open.In addition to the EOS-M, this unit is a nice fit for my Sony SEL24 lens, or for my Sigma 19 & 30mm lenses (BOTH of them).I love this pouch!1 YEAR LATER: just got two more of these for use with lenses. Side by side in the vest pocket, they provide the best possible convenience and protection.

Perfect for Sony RX100 camera
This case is recommended on a few bulletin boards for the Sony RX100 camera (mine's model VI, but should fit all versions). There are other generic cases out there but all are too bulky and a loose fit. This is a very snug fit but should loosen up. Very versatile: secure attachments for backpack shoulder straps or waist belt and also comes with a shoulder strap. It seems hard to find (unobtainable locally and I tried to order it from another vendor but my order got cancelled, so I guess it's out of stock). I got a good price since it's the less popular blue colour (Also available in grey, red, and possibly other colours). Overall very pleased!

Don't use for Sony a6000 unless only using a pancake lens
It's a good case but if you are looking to use it for the Sony a6000 with anything but the pancake lens, it won't fit. I bought it to fit my Sony a6000 with my 24mm 1.8 Zeiss prime lens attached and it didn't fit so I returned it and purchased the Lowepro Adventura SH 100 II instead, which fits perfectly. This case just was a bit too narrow and the camera didn't even make it all the way to the bottom.
