Great product for bulk revival of silver product
It is very good at weakening and removing tarnish. It leaves a residue that looms like raw metal. You still need to polish your silver after using it. You canโt let it pool or sit or itโll rust the bottom of your bucket. It stinks. It is the stinkiest thing ever. I like to pour it into a heavy duty trash bag and dunk my silver into it Wear gloves!!! It burns your skin

About 10-20 seconds is all you need.
The silver dip is no joke. Itโs gets the job done fast. I put this in a 5 gallon bucket with a lid. The stuff has a strong smell, wear a mask or use it outside. Wear non latex gloves. Don't mix anything into the dip, itโs ready to go right out of the jug. Just dip your silver pieces right in. Dip for about 20 seconds or so, then wash with soap and water rinse VERY VERY well! Make sure your silver is dry, buff with a cloth then evaluate if you need to dip your piece again. We had a lot of pieces that had quite a bit of tarnish that needed to be dipped twice, but I was very impressed with how quickly the dip works. Even some pieces that looked black, and I was convinced Iโd be buffing for a hour were silver again in 15-20 seconds. I was shocked. Donโt over do it. You have to Pay attention with this stuff, it is potent and does the job. Hear me. This is NOT a set it in and come back to it later after your show is over kind of dip, you need to sit and watch it. This is a great product, but it will take the finish off of something thatโs been left in it too long. So pay attention.

Quick and easy
Wow. No need to let the item sit or spin like other cleaners. Barely touch with the cleaner and it sparkles.

This product works fantastically. Removed years of tarnish in a matter of seconds.

Great, with a jewelry tray it would be a 5 star product! Since I had to sacrifice a stainless steel fork I give it 4 stars.
Excellent results. It's more designed for cleaning sterling silverware but I can clean that with regular old silver polish. I ordered this for my VERY tarnished silver jewelry and it worked wonders! Within just a few seconds of the item being dipped it was looking much better than it had in years. It says not to let it touch gemstones etc and I tried not to, but with one pair of earrings it appears to have made one opal(?) brittle if I run my nail across it and slightly faded, but the other one appears unaffected. But it still looks much better than it did prior to using the silver dip. I have not worn the earrings in years because of how tarnished they were, so I figured it was no loss if it completely ruined the jewelry as I wasn't wearing them anyways and I plan to wear it even with it's slightly damaged look. An amber bracelet was completely submerged and appears unaffected (aside from the now sparkling silver!) so it seems like it really just depends on the stone. Just make sure to rinse the items in water after you're through polishing it. I am not giving this 5 stars because it did not come with a dipping tray etc as I have seen other cleaners come with. I know it is designed for silverwear, but it wouldn't take a lot to add a plastic tray in the middle of it. As it was, I used an old fork to dip my items, and had to get pretty creative to keep from submerging some jewelry right up to the level of the stone, but not over. As it said on the packaging it did ruin the finish of the fork (not silver - just an old stainless steel fork). So if the item you want to dip isn't sterling and it's not so tarnished you would be ashamed to use/wear it, don't risk ruining it until it's past that point and you have no other options to try and polish it. All around very happy with it! As I cleaned a lot of jewelry on my first round using this, it was easy to do a side by side comparison of before and after, so if I can find a way to post the picture I will do that.

The Best Fast and Easy Jewelry Cleaner!
I have bought this numerous times and shared it with my family. I love it and use it frequently to clean my large collection of jewelry and other items. I've used it on rings, earrings, necklaces, chains, and some keepsakes with great results and it hasn't harmed my stones or crystals ever, even opals, which are a softer gemstone. I pour a smaller amount into another lidded jar and drop in the piece or pieces that I'm cleaning. I shake them around in it for a little while and remove them when I see that the tarnish is gone and they are cleaned. I then rinse them and sometimes use a little dish detergent on a soft toothbrush to get into the filigree and cracks. Then I rinse and dry. They look like new! The only pieces that I didn't have excellent results were some chains. I believe they might be plated, cheaper, or just a poor quality metal as nothing that I tried would shine them up well. The instructions advise that you don't ever use it on stainless steel or jewelry with glued stones or embellishments as it could dissolve the glue, so be aware of that. I also don't leave things soak in it for long. I would re-dip it if the quick cleaning didn't work in a few minutes. It usually cleans the tarnish in less than a minute. This is my first "go-to" cleaner for all of my jewelry and I 100% recommend it. It does a great, quick job maintaining my jewelry and lasts a long time. I use the same cleaner in the second jar over and over until I need to add more, keeping the "fresh" cleaner in it's original jar. Please don't change the formula, Goddard's!

Saves time and your fingers !!!
Itโs a perfect cleaner for silver jewelry. Removes tarnish from silver easily and fast, specially from hard to clean areas. The downside is the silver is not as shiny but I use a polishing silver cream and soft cloth to buff it and silver looks amazing. Overall I recommend this product and definitely will purchase again.

EASY PEASY
This stuff is great! Just dip and rinse your sterling in the solution. Gets in all the cracks and crevices. Take you're silver cloth to the item to get a high lustre. So easy, no scrubbing needed. I have used this for years and then could not located in my regular stores. Was down to the last 1/2 ounce when I located it on Amazon.
