I was looking for a product which would help me keep a timer. Yes, we all have a stop watch or a timer in our phone but I was looking for a product which would keep me away from distraction. I did not want to get in a situation where I pick up my phone for starting some activity and end up seeing a message or an e-mail and end up spending ten minutes replying on it. This product helps in managing the distractions, especially if you are applying Pomodoro technique.About the product:The product is very simple, with four timer options, I took the one which has 5-15-30-60 minutes. According to my thinking for Adults this one makes more sense while for Kids I will recommend the other option. In some cases if people are using it to time their cooking activities, see the kind of things you cook and the timers involved in it and take a decision.Things which I liked1. Extremely easy to use, you just turn on the device and place it in front of you. The timer option which you want to start keep it on the top2. It has options of flashing blue light or a sound of an alarm clock, whichever you prefer. A person can have both if they want to keep it. I like the fact that a person can choose either of the two or both depending on their family, the time of the day which they are using it etc.Things which I did not like1. The only dislike which I had was the display, the display could have been better. It is not horrible, you can view it clearly if you have kept it at a certain angle with your eyes. Of course if sunlight falls on it, it becomes a bit more challenging.Overall: I was thinking of giving this product 4 stars out of 5 as the display can be improved. However, the simplicity which this product offers overcomes the display, so what I am giving this product is somewhere around 4.75, which will round off to 5 in Amazon ratings. If you are looking for a simple timer, which will also help you keep away from your mobile, it is a good addition to your armory against all the distractions out there. I am using it for both office and home purpose and I can assure that using this is much better than using a stop watch on your mobile phone.

I am using this product since last 4-5 days for my office works and other activities. It works fine as mentioned in product guide.I liked all the 5 faces except the one which has LCD . I am not sure why it has been used old kind of LCD like old watches. however the good part about LCD is it rotates as you rotate the cube.I am worrying about sturdiness as it has not made out of sturdy material as Rubik's cube has made out of sturdy Material. Request to product designer use good material.White color is good but it gets dirty as you used especially the rounded corner. most of the time I keep this cube on my desk, so dirty looks makes quite uncomfortable.Otherwise product is good best part is it does not beep long once times out.I hope next edition will be with these changes..

No doubt it's a Good Product, Timer function works well and it is easy to use as well. "But" Definitely not value for money. Quite Expensive.This timer function you can get in a cheap mobile phone too with near accuracy. This item should cost anything between INR150-250

First of all, I had to return the first order as I received a defective piece. If you read the other reviews below, you will see the problems, Anyways, I received a replacement and it seemed to work initallyHowever since last one week, it has started behaving very erratically despite me changing the batteries. The only way I can get it to work is to switch off/on and then try to set the timer which defeats the purpose that the design was exactly supposed to make this convientient (and hence the extra double cost)It is a way cheap build product which feels filmsy right from first day.

A thousand bucks for this seems way too costly, but given the dearth of options like these timers in the market, you got to pay the premium. Does the job. No Issues. Hopeful to see the same no-nonsense performance in the future tooUpdate - Stopped working only in a couple of months. Very disappointed for a product that costed me so much

The product is of good quality.I use mini minutes timer- 1,3,5,7 and mega timer - 5,15,45,602.Easy to shift timer minutes quickly and instantly to increase or decrease the time required unlike other timers.3. Pause option is an added unique feature incase you like to take break from your target focus time on a particular task.And resume back on the same task again knowing that you have spent exactly the time you had decided to allot to the task.5.Gives you indistractable focus on the task at hand rather than switching between time periods for different tasks.6.The only clever and innovative timer available.CONS:- a problem if the company stops selling it in Amazon after the user gets attuned to it.

Fell once and broke Very cheap quality plastic. Concept is good. Not value for money.

Hello,Recently, I have purchased this cool product called Portronics Timeout. I was very excited to receive this product as after reading some suggestions by other buyers and also by its description that it helps you a lot in giving challenges to ourselves to complete the task within that time.Frankly speaking after receiving the product really I like it too much as it helps me a lot in many ways even at the time of exercise, you can easily make the timer to do that exercise and also while completing some other important task. It's a very light weighted product as well but the main thing that I feel is that its a bit costly other than overall its a very good product.I am also attaching some photos of this amazing product for your better understanding about its looks and sizes as well.Thank you
