TruGlo Bright Xtreme Universal Mzzl Sight Set, with Red Front Ramp, Green Rear Notch & Bonus Green Ghost

Installation was surprisingly straightforward, though I did find one small trick: you'll need to flip the rear sight around to access the adjustment screws. Once that minor hurdle is cleared, dialing in your aim is a breeze. Overall, I'm genuinely happy with this setup. It's a noticeable improvement that makes a real difference at the range.

Fit the gun well . Easy to install . Bore sited them in . Have not shot the gun yet. They look nice

I got this product years ago and I'm just now reviewing it. I put these truglo sites on a Howa 1500 in .375 Ruger caliber. For those of you that don't know anything about guns it's a high-powered medium bore cartridge and The recoil is bordering uncomfortable...meaning it kicks like hell!! But, just like me, these sites take the punishment and keep on going. On some fiber optic sites I've lost plenty of light pipes but I've never lost a light pipe on a TruGlow product. Great sites you can put them on anything muzzleloader or centerfire rifle. They make plenty of shotgun sights too but these are rifle sites so I'm only talking about them now. My complete opinion is that these are great sight and I highly recommend them.

Tried to mount and the pin for the front sight wouldn’t fit. Screw kept coming lose after trying to hammer in the pin. Rear sight was alright, but no screws included secured the sights. Great idea, bad manufacturing. Didn’t have a problem with Tru Glo until now. Waste of money.

Great result with a moderate difficult installation. My eyesight could no longer find the front iron sight of my Hawken replica. Did not want to go the scope route for this replication of an early American percussion cap rifle but I still wanted to use the muzzle loader. These true glow helped solve the problem by providing an illuminated front sight in low light dusk and dawn whitetail hunting. Installation on the Hawken was straightforward except that the instructions called for a different machine screw for the Thomsen Center Hawken for the front sight. I ended up using a different screw and different screw hole for the front sight. I also added Loctite red to all screws (not part of the provided installation instructions. The instructions state "one of two screws may be used to mount the rear site". On the Hawken, only one screw lines up so that was the default for my install. The result yields a replica firearm that maintains the look and feel of the original iron sights.

Besides my dumb butt having trouble with tiny screws it was perfect on my traditions buckstalker xt definitely put down paper so if you drop anything it's easy to find

UPDATE! 11/30/2017 so i went out to sight in the 44mag at 10 yards. i backed the sight down as far as i could until i couldnt see over the rear ramp! this is a pretty big flaw in this sights design. its got waaaaay more ramp then it needs. should cut it back some. im still happy with the sight picture overall. i handed the pistol to my friend and he flipped out! OMG this is awesome! haha so i love it but its going to need some work to be perfect. so a few years ago I ask my friend "if you only had 1 bullet to use to save your life. what caliber would it be?" its answer was fast. "44 magnum!" a few weeks later we're going to a gun show. we pay to get in and two steps in I find the Thompson center encore frame I needed! ordered the 12inch 44 magnum barrel online and got it all together! the sights that came with the barrel SUCKED. so I replaced them with a red dot. well, the 44 magnum loads I was making (200grain bullet going 1500FPS with 700x powder) would make the battery jump and turn off the red dot sight. with that being a big problem. I searched all over for something that had a hoop in the rear and a red dot in the front. I found this truglo muzzle-Brite extreme with a little ring in. now I thought by the picture this ring was going to be HUGE. thinking its more for a shotgun. well, i was wrong! its TINY! were talking smaller then a dime! but as you can see in the pictures. it works perfectly! now I haven't sighted it in yet. so I don't know about the build quality but ill update this review when I do! For now, only 3stars because this doesn't 100% fit the Thompson center encore barrel very well. I was about to get two screws in the rear sight but the front I was only able to get 1 screw in. not a big deal right now but we will see if it holds up at the range. pinning the front sight on covers up the screw. so if I do have a problem. this is going to be a pain in the butt to fix. Advertised as Tritium, in reality they are fiber optic only. That stated, they are good fiber optic sights for the money, just not as great a deal as if they were as advertised.

I bought this item to enhance the plain open sights on my CZ supermatch. It fits nicely 👌😎 not perfect but near. With a little epoxy in addition to the retaining screws it should hold nicely. The fibres are bright and beautiful 😍✨
