Protects but...
It will protect your radio from bumps and scrapes and is pretty simple to take off and on. I plan on using this purely when I take my radio on the go.Cons: Pretty much blocks access to the top alert button (the blue or green one on top)

Programming Nightmares
I have a few AT radios and after acquiring the AT-D578UV DMR, I wanted to have an HT to round-off my DMR collection. The 578 presented several programming challenges, but nothing I couldn't knock out with a little trial and error and a few conversations with others having issues. I'm not going to write a negative essay nor take swings at what I think might be a pretty good radio. I will however, simply provide information that appears to be a common gripe, which is the programming. Unfortunately, there are no other software options available to program the radio, and the CPS it comes with, would have to improve 10-fold just to suck. I'm a huge fan of RT Systems software and figured they had a version based on the popularity of the radio, but to no avail. I was told by RT that they had something in the works, but further down the road. The problems I have are serial/usb com errors, band errors, read/write errors, lost data, inconsistent exports, and I've run out of fingers to cross when attempting to import. I watched several Bridgecom videos, but with only about a 30% success when even following step by step. In any event, programming your radio should not be a hit-and-miss scenario nor and event to walk away from frustrated and defeated. I guess my advice would to suggest holding off on the radio until a solid software solution can be shipped. If you know someone that has hurled them-self through the fire and thorn gauntlet figuring out all the issues, then maybe it might be worth it?

Great case
It is a great case for my btech dmr-6x2. Well made and sturdy. I've used it extensively and has yet to show any wear. I'm very happy with this purchase

OK, but not worth the money.
If you already have a belt clip on your batter, this will be ok, but without, you have to carry it with the strap. This is where this product is worthless as the radio is carried on it's side since the metal loops for the strap are attached at different points on the case. One is at the top and the other is about 2" down on the opposite side. Mine sitsi n a box possiblyn ever to be used again

Really good case for the price
This turned out to be a surprisingly good case for my Anytone 878 radio. The fit is snug and the cutouts are all well positioned for proper operation. I'll be taking my Anytone on the road with me this week in my new case!
