K&H Self-Warming Cat Bed Pad, Self Heating Pad, Small 21 X 17 Oatmeal/Choco

My 17 year old cat is suffering from arthritis and is continuously seeking warmth. Since one of the places he enjoys most is the chair in my bathroom, I decided to get one of these pads for him. He loves it The pad comes in a vacuum sealed bag in a small box. I shook out the pad, but creases remain where it was folded. They'll probably come out with time. The pad is thin - I would definitely put it on top of a regular soft bed of some sort. Mine is on top of a large grey folded towel. It makes a slight crinkly sound when touched - my cat doesn't seem to care. When I first opened the package, there was a slight smell. I let the pad air out for a day, then inserted it in the folds of my towel. Now, as you can see, Simon has no trouble sleeping on it. It does not get hot like a heating pad, but offers a slight, gentle warmth. I would recommend this product.

It’s soft and uses their body heat. Wouldn’t say it’s water resistance. Will probably be repurchasing this winter! The outdoor feral cats loved it! Going to put it in one of those foam insulated coolers.

🐾 A Heartwarming Tale of Comfort and Recovery! 🌟 Hey there, fellow pet lovers! 🐱❤️ Let me share with you an incredible journey that led me to discover the purr-fect solution for my furry friend's needs! 🌈 Picture this: I had three precious indoor cats, but only one of them constantly sought warmth, hiding away in cozy nooks and crannies. 🏞️ It broke my heart to see her losing weight and struggling with her health. After a vet visit, we discovered she was in stage 3 kidney failure – a real emergency! 😔 I purchased a very tall cat tower for her to hide inside where I could keep an eye on her. I thought sure she was on her way to the rainbow 🌈 bridge. But hold on, there's a silver lining! After months of intensive kidney flushing therapy and dietary changes, she bounced back and embraced her feline spirit with renewed energy! 🙌 And as winter approached, I grew concerned about the cold floors and drafts affecting her well-being. That's when I stumbled upon a game-changer – a heating pad without a pesky thermostat! 🌡️ It magically warms up when my cat snuggles up on it, and let me tell you, it's like a little slice of heaven for her and me! 😍 I keep this miracle pad by the foot of my rocker recliner, and on chilly mornings, it not only keeps my feet toasty warm, but it also lulls my fur baby into a deep, contented slumber. 😴 As the house warms up, she gracefully moves to the window, basking in the glorious morning sun. Now, here's the kicker – this heating pad has a cord that my cat perceives as a slithering snake! 🐍 But fret not, my friends, because this cord is thick and wrapped in sturdy metal, ensuring both her safety and my peace of mind. 🙏 While I haven't tested this pad outside, I can confidently say that it has transformed my home into my cat's happy place. At a remarkable 18 years old, she's living a longer and happier life than ever before. 🎉 And hey, she's convinced that every cord is out to get her, but this one is no match for her prowess! At 80 degrees outside today, she still seeks the warmth of this pad each morning. So, if you're on the hunt for a warming pad that's not only cat-approved but also brings comfort and joy to your own life, look no further! 🌞 I hope my review helps you make an informed decision and brings warmth to your furry friend's world. Cheers to cozy cuddles and happy purrs! 🥂 #PawsitivelyWarm #HappyCatsHappyHomes #WarmthForTheWin

These are nice and soft, and they look cute. My only criticism is that they are lightweight and often end up wadded up in the corner of the sofa. They are perfect for the inside of a carrier though. Especially when you have to take them to the vet. It was comforting for her.

I thought I was buying the perfect cozy spot for my cat. My cat, however, apparently had other plans. The warming pad is well made, soft, and fits nicely where I wanted to put it. I love that it self warms without needing electricity, so it is easy for him to get warm and cozy. Unfortunately, my feline supervisor inspected it, gave me a judgmental look, and went right back to sleeping in the cardboard box it came near. That's definitely not the pad's fault, it's just cat logic I guess. I'm leaving it out because I know one day my cat will suddenly decide it's the greatest invention ever and act like it was his idea all along. Until then, I'm impressed with the quality and would still recommend it to anyone whose cat is a little less opinionated than mine.

We were looking for a small, comfy mat for our bay window space. Our cat loves to lay and watch birds and he is really enjoying his new comfy spot! Just enough padding for him and the quality is great! The size is ideal for the space and one cat.

Loved this it kept my cats alive below zero temperature within an insulated box.

This mat WAS a great little cat bed. I pet sit & take care of my own cats, and have ordered it SEVEN times. However the one ordered late in August 2026 was a totally different quality; the cream colored side lacked padding and was a short-napped velour type of fabric instead of the cushy "faux shearling" it had always been previously. The item number & product code on the Aug 2026 K&H box were identical to the item number & product code on the K&H box from a previous order (ordered early in 2026), but the box itself was easily 1/3 smaller than the previous item box! What on EARTH!!? Somehow this formerly great item has gone through a change in quality.

A mis gatos les encanta.

Its basically exactly what is advertised - my heat-loving cat does not enjoy it as much as I thought though, 4/5

Mon chat a tout de suite adopté cette jolie couverture ! Il l’adore !

Perfect size. High Quality and perfect for her kitty cave. It is quiet and very plush and soft.

Even during summer, my cat loves this mat! Hope it works better in winter. 🙂
