Dickies Men's Short Sleeve Industrial Work Shirt

I bought this shirt in white to wear in a bakery. I like the fit much better than the Red Kap Chef DesignsButton-Front Cook Shirt, White, Short Sleeve Medium , but the medium fits like a large on me. I wear a medium t shirt, and have a slim athletic build, but the medium was better sized for my coworker who has a heavier build and wears a large t shirt. That said, I like the length, the material is easy-care poly cotton, and the pockets are good for putting stuff in. The left pocket has a pencil slot, and they both have button closures. I'm going to order one in small and I'll update my review in regards to sizing. EDIT: I came back to order a couple more, and realized I never updated my review in regards to sizing. Like I have mentioned, I wear a medium t-shirt, and I have a slim athletic build--the small size fits me perfectly. Actually, the small Dickies shirt is the same size as the medium shirt our laundry service supplies. But I buy my own because they look nicer, and I have a couple of week's worth so I don't have to do laundry every day.

I needed shirts for work in this exact color. The ones provided to us were cheap and too small. These Dickies are the right color. Better yet, they look far better and fit better than the cheap polyester pullovers provided at work. I blend in, but look much better. I'm a big guy and the larger sizes fit me. I marked them low for stretch, but that isn't a demerit. I don't want them to stretch. I want them to look like a nice sport shirt, and they do.

I perform maintenance for USPS and I love these shirts for work. Having worn both these and the thicker Dickies Work Shirts that are made primarily from cotton (LS307) I will choose these first. The material is lighter but seems to be more durable. Where my LS307 work shirts have developed small pinholes from the chemicals I work around occasionally, the LS535's are still going strong. Also these seem to be less likely to stain due to the larger balance of synthetic materials. My only complaint is one that is stated often with any of these style shirts from Dickies and that is they run small on sizes. I usually wear a large and it is too tight in the shoulders restricting movement. So I have to buy an XL for proper fit. My only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars.

light weight, does not need ironed, looks professional, I have a pen, a pencil and a marker on left chest pocket and phone on right chest pocket. these things get abused and beaten, in construction type work every day. I have 5 or so that I have had over 3-4 yrs of Daily use, they are great for mowing and dirty work, since they are rough looking by now :). never a problem with buttons or anything. No bull, good shirt, very good value for a daily hard work shirt that will easily last over a Year and look good.

At first, reading the reviews got me worried I wouldn't like the shirt. Shirt got here today tried it on first thing I noticed was a big ol orange tag lol so what still dickies lol made in Honduras... I did get it in black nd with summer being here I don't mind the material being light weight or thinner doesn't make it any less durable jus more comfortable... I'm 6'5 423lbs nd ordered 5x nd i am not disappointed with the fit I went off of other shirts I wear so I jus got the one but ill be ordering more! Its jus a work shirt after all!!! Ha

Just as described this is the thinner version of the original work shirt exactly what I wanted for the summer. The size is a tad bit on the larger side but it give me extra wiggle room

These are not what I expected, they almost look like knock offs. They do run very small, I wear a 3XL in the other Dickies shirts, these fit like 2XL's, tight. The material is thin and that could be a good thing in some cases, not in mine though. We will see if there is any 'stain release' ability to them, if not they were a waste of my time. Are they good? well, I would have to say yes, if you are looking for a 'run small' fitting, thin material, blended fabric shirt.

We bought four of these for my son to wear while working at a restaurant. They look great, still crisp looking after several washings, but NOT stiff or scratchy. No need for ironing, they look good right out of the dryer. The fabric is opaque enough that it can be worn without a tee shirt under it. We've had problems in the past with white buttondowns and polos which are ever-so-slightly see-through: they show chest hair, requiring a tee/undershirt---and wearing two layers is not ideal when you're in and out of a hot kitchen. We bought the tall size which is plenty long enough for my son who is 6'3". Finally, this was a great value at just $15 and change each.

The Dickies work wear is exceptional workwear for men. My son is a bricklayer and the wear and tear on his clothes is great. Dickies lives up to all of the wear and tear.
