VFV-12, 1/8" NPT, Automatic Air Bleed Vent

Very good build quality. Replaced a couple of failng release valves on my stem radiators at the beginning of last season, they are still functioning flawlessly. I recommend them!

This is a time proven rock solid Valemo 1/8" NPT, Automatic Air Bleed, similar to the Taco Air bleeds of the past. Installation is simple if you are familiar with Hydronic Heating Systems. Installation, preparation and bleeding is straight forward, it took about twenty minutes total time. If you are not familiar with these devices, most oil suppliers will provide the service for a nominal fee, it is always good to have your complete system professionally serviced on a preset schedule to prevent higher cost repairs down the road.

Perfect for my boiler, excellent build quality and price! Longevity, only tiny will tell but for half the price of other week known names I'd figure I'd give it a try. The weight of it hints of great build quality. I'm please with it.

Great product at an affordable price.

HVAC company would have charged $400 to change out my clogged pressure valve. Did this myself in 20 minutes. Just be sure to cut off water and release pressure before removing old and installing new. I wish I'd also closely followed the fine-print instructions to keep the valve fully closed while repressurizing -- there is some risk not doing so can send debris into the new valve. I messed this up, but I think it's fine.

The small size does occasionally flood when larger amounts of air are present as it can't handle large amounts as it is a small size. That said it works as advertised 99% of the time and is only an issue after a repair to the system or during fall start up, carful , slow venting avoids burps and spills. Works great on my hydronic towel rack.
