Yes, these items did work and fit, for now. But, none of the supplied hardware (steel threaded balls, or the plastic sockets) were even close to OEM. Some bolts were too short, only threading in a couple of turns. And the type of socket they used, limited the articulation or angle vs the stock hardware. Yes, you could put your old hardware onto the new Gas Springs, but what if you don't have the old stuff, or it is weak or damaged. Plus, who want used retainers and hardware on their new parts. I am hoping for the best here. Hopefully they don't break off due to the extra stress on the plastic socket, from not being exact OEM style.

Great product. Comes in three individual boxes, small=hood, medium=rear glass, large=rear hatch. I messed up at first and put the hood shocks at the window witch didn't work. If you put them in the correct spot they work great. Also comes with new mounting bolts/ball and socket.

They never fit my Jeep Grand Cherokee as they said ...
They never fit my Jeep Grand Cherokee as they said they would.. One of the 3 sets I purchased.. One strut snapped as it was being replaced .. I feel very dissatisfied with the products. They are sitting in my tailgate collecting dust. Was hoping to have all my struts replaced and in working condition. Not the case. Tried over and over to get a return label with no success. It's been a while since purchase now.. Oh well

Great product
Easy to install and all work great! It was harder getting the old ones off that use screws. The ones for the hood just pop off and on and it took less than 5 min to swap those. I definitely recommend these.

Easy breazy cover squirl.
awesome replacement. nice to have my hood and tail gate not come down on my head thanks. Just popped off the old one's and popped on the new one's. Thanks for a great product.

Great!! I have 2004 JGC that both the tailgate and hood wouldn't stay up. Original equipment lasted 11 years. These replacements we're easy to install and work beautifully. I'd gladly recommend to anyone.
