Moth Bar Lavender Scented - 6 oz (Pack of 6)

Living near a forest one battles every sort of flying and crawling "visitors". Although other techniques have been suggested, some manner of "moth balls" seem to be the most reliable. There are other products that we use that purport to provide extended atmospheric protection, but we place these in every closet that holds wool clothing. The sturdy hangers are dependable, and a lavender scent is preferable to "eau moth ball". Additionally, one can open the case and consolidate the remaining crystal blocks. All in all, a solid performer.

Use in all my closets

We keep these hanging in all of our closets for prevention of moth damage. We have had a moth problem in the past, but it seems to be well under control at this time.

The product comes with 2 round discs in each of the 6 packages that came in the $35. box. The paper hook on each package looks flimsy but works fine. When removing the plastic from the discs in order to put them in the holder don’t do it in your lap like I did, and got a lot of flakes on me. Better to have a paper towel on a counter. The price seems high but they do last for a few months each, so you only have to buy them once a year.

These moth bars hung well in my closets without any issues. They were sturdy. I tried to re-order and they were out of stock. I really like this brand, so I bought the brand in a loose moth balls.

I like the smell of these and the odor is not too strong. The package for hanging needs improvement. Once opened the bottom needs to be taped to hold the cakes inside. The hanger is poorly designed and does not hang well. I wish they made the old style cakes and sold separately since I save the plastic holders to recycle. The round cakes do not fit in the old holders.

The right stuff… couldn’t find the product in major retailers… i.e. Walmart, etc… Amazon next day delivery… why waste gas?… perfecto!….
