Best gaff you can get. Use it all the time in theater and it's the only brand I buy.

i won't buy any other brand of gaff tape for a show. sticky and easy to remove, doesn't leave residue unless you leave it on for a really long time

Of course there are proper uses for duct/duck tape but for most of the things we tend to do around the house this has proven to be the best thing since sliced bread! Love it! Easy to use. Doesn't seem to be as messy as duct tape can sometimes be. Seems to hold better on the surfaces we find ourselves needing to work with around the house. (Mind you we are not building or remodeling oe anything heavy duty.) It is pricier than duct tape but it does what you want and so there is less waste and...oh yes, less frustration. How much is that worth to you?We don't expect to need to reorder again for quite some time but we won't hesitate to buy this gaffer's tape again when we do.

This is the real deal - real gaffers tape. You can use this tape and then remove it and use it for something else. I have had it on things for years and it doesn't melt or leave marks, unless you leave it in direct sunlight. Even then, it is not much of a problem. And, it is the best tape for holding thing together without the worry that it will come apart. I keep buying the 3" and 1" size because I keep using up the rolls. They are pricey, but they are the best.

Perfect! I have used the 2" version of this for years. The added width is ideal for 12 AWG drop cords or heavy duty speaker cable. audio snakes etc. No having to double up the tape because the cable slipped to far to one side or the other. I don't like the high price point at check out but like it a lot on the actual gig. Holds cables securely in place to commercially finished concrete but comes up easily with no residue left behind.

I only use ProTapes gaffers tape and this is my third or fourth purchase. I work most weekends as a DJ doing weddings and private events and this tape is perfect. It's wider than what most people seem to use so it's more than wide enough for your largest gauge cables and holds tight on wood, tiling, and even carpet. I've had one or two ocassions where it wouldn't stick, but I assume that nothing would've worked in that situation. It always removes easily and doesn't leave a residue which is essential when working at nicer and historical venues and even I can even get it off of my cables when it gets wrapped around itself. I've even been thinking about buying it in different colors. Recommend this tape completely and wholeheartedly.

Gaff tapes seem to all be over priced, and this is no exception, but it did a good job and I will purchase it again, if I don't find a better deal elsewhere

I was hunting for a good gaff tape that both stuck well and removed easily without leaving residue. I tried many other garbage tapes(didn’t even use half the roll) and none of them even compared to this brand, and for the price too, it’s really not that expensive considering the performance you get from it.I’ve used this tape at gigs for about two months now and it definitely works for my needs. I’ve almost gone through 4 rolls and it hasn’t failed me yet.Sticks well and removes clean. You might see reviews saying “ahh it left an awful residue, never going to buy it again” don’t let dummies fool ya, they probably forgot to mention that had it stuck there for the whole summer through all the heat.. and no, it’s probably not going to pull up clean, it’s designed more or less for temporary use, tape cords down for a show, remove tape after a show. Just saying, keep that in the back of your mind when reading foolish reviews...Anyway..Now all I need is to find a tape that will actually stick to the grille of my Vox.
