I don’t usually write reviews but this one needed it. Not only because the product works (works better if you strap a fit bit or apple watch to it though and you can still hatch eggs and use your phone)But because of the custom service!mine arrived with the base smashed and the unit wouldn’t work no matter what i tried. i contacted Mopei and they were very helpful and arranged a replacement straight away which arrived this morning. The person i spoke with was mega helpful and kind and even took the time to wish me and my family good health during the virus outbreak.All in all a great way to blast through those old pokemon eggs and great people to deal with

Great product. Works well but I have to limit the swing of the phone as it registers as 'cycling' which didn't count towards my steps/distance (I had to download Google Fit to find that out). I just put the stand right up against something soft (so no banging!) and now steps/distance is counted :-)

Bought this product to use with my new iPhone 11 Pro Max and well being honest it can't cope with the weight of the phone. It swings back a few times then slowly stops. I'm a bit disappointed overall but have tried it with some other phones in the house and works a treat with lighter phones. The Pro Max is quite heavy.On the devices that would rock back and forth it did exactly what it said it would do and I had over 15 Km "walked" in just over 2 hours. So knocking off a star as it can't deal with the weight of a Pro Max or XS max but does very well with lighter phones. The only other con is knocking sound when the phones moves, as it does what its meant to do I can live with it but does get annoying after a while.UPDATE:The original review was written Nov/Dec last year and was a genuine honest review of what the product was like at the time. However 3 months on I have to say the product has a major issue which only appears over time...on the metal swinging phone holder there are grooves (very similar to a file used to smooth objects). Over time these grooves actually wear down the plastic arms of the device and actually result in the device becoming practically useless for the purpose. I bought 2 of this item and now have to replace both of them due to this design flaw which I did not think about at the time.Even the much lighter phone only receives around 500m per hour on them and even then that's when it decides it wants to work. At their peak I could achieve 7km on the lighter phone and around 3/4 on my Max.I have now bought a completely different design to this walker to see if it makes any difference. A possible solution would be to sell/include extra arms to hold the device with the product.

I struggled for a few weeks to get this to work properly. I thought my phone was too big and it wasn't registering the steps (Samsung A52). I had it every which way I could figure in the swing; with and without the elastic band attached.I have now gotten it to work flawlessly and while I am at home I am able to clock in about 150km in a week.The trick is to completely exit Pokemon Go as keeping the app open, even in the background, will make the game use it's GPS tracking to tally your movement. Open Google Fit, start a new workout, and select Walk. Anything faster and it will not sync with the game. Place the phone in the cradle, strap it in, and start a slow swing. I've found that it can do 5-10Km in about an hour. Once you've given it some time, open Google Fit and stop the workout. Give Google Fit some time to stop the workout, and then open Pokemon Go. You should have registered your distance, hatched eggs, dropped candies, etc.I was on the verge of sending this back but now I love it.In terms of build quality, I got one with arms that are metal as it seems like the designers listened to the feedback about the plastic filing away.It isn't silent as it will make a "clunk" on each swing as the magnet works. It sounds a bit like a metronome.Now that I have sussed it this was worth every penny.

Great product. I’ve have it a month now and I use it for about an hour a day, still going strong with no need to change the batteries yet. You get about 5km every 30 minutes, there are no speed settings so there are limits (don’t expect hatching eggs every 15 minutes). Just under 10km an hour is the best I get of it.

I received my order on the 22nd June 2020When I received my order I didn’t look too thoroughly at the contents. It came with two sets of arms, base and charging cable. (I knew to only use batteries OR mains)I assumed both sets of arms were the same, so assembled the swing and started using it straight away, after a few weeks the plastic arms did indeed get worn down.Replacing them with the second set of arms, I found that the second set in fact had a metal top, woooohooooo!I’ve been using it almost 24/7 (mainly for candies) for the last two months.It works great and the metal arms have a much more efficient swing than the original plastic ones.It can hatch a 7km egg in the reusable incubator in an hour (3.5km)I definitely recommend this and the metal arms changed everything.
