Does it prevent makeup transfer on, for example, clothes?

Yes..make-up does not rub off on clothing and stays on until you wash it off!!! A really great product.

Is this product good for water based makeup?

Yes, it works well with water based. It's an alcohol base final seal so it shouldn't smudge or alter water based makeup.I used it for costume makeup which my face paint was water based and it set it nicely.

does it hold eye makeup

It does. It's magical stuff. If you need your eyes to last all day and night, I would still use an eye primer first. Then do your makeup and spray with this all over, including your eyes. I did that for my wedding day and my makeup stayed all day even in July heat.

Is it non-comedogenic?

I found that it doesn't aggravate acne but if I don't wash my face after 8 hrs . . I get a sticky feeling and then produces acne for me . .I love this product ..
