The problem was the owner kept driving and the upper rod was torn up by the barrings and made it hard for the new barrings to seat were it needed to be...so the kit works just make sure the upper rod that your steering wheel attaches to..is good to receive the new parts

I feel the C clip is weak compared to the factory original. I've had issues with replacement clip to stay in its groove. I purchased a factory replacement, much thicker, solved the problem. Otherwise, the rest of the kit is great.

The snap ring they give you is garbage. It’s literally half the thickness of the factory one. The factory snap ring is far superior than what they give you. So I don’t understand why they are calling this a factory kit? Because the snap ring was basically garbage I didn’t trust the bearing either. Ultimately I threw everything away and got a REAL FACTORY upper bearing kit elsewhere. This product is trash, don’t waste your time and money.

Overall this product worked for me, the snap ring was not as sturdy as the old one so I reused it instead of the one in this package. Biggest complaint was that it took two weeks to receive it, when you order a part like this it means you probably have your vehicle torn apart and you need the parts asap, seller needs to speed up shipping times.

Hard to find this kit, even thru dealer. Great price for this kit.
