We are unsophisticated with systems that use this product and, as such, the product itself. When I added the product to the chemical drum, it seemed unusual, but since we had not purchased this product in the past, and since the product was brand new in a sealed bottle, thought nothing of it. A few months later we noticed that our lawn sprinkler system was causing really bad rust staining on everything the water touched. Upon investigation, we found that the thick and clotted chemical had entered into the small tubing of the Rid-O-Rust system and clogged the system and pump which now has to be redone in the spring. Only one of the 4 bottles we received seems to be in this condition which suggests to us that the manufacturer's quality control is severely lacking. We didn't make these discoveries until months after our purchase, so we feel "out of luck" when it comes to any guarantee or warranty.
