if you have an active and strong kid may not work
I bought this to teach my dog to jump through a hoop, works great for that, but I am not sure it would survive a 5 year old.

Very difficult to put together.
I got this for my grandson because he always wanted to play with mine (which is one of those very heavy hoops designed for exercise). This one is very light and didn’t hold his attention like grandma’s did!! Anyway, I had to ask my husband to help put the segments together. Probably wouldn’t purchase again.

I trip over this daily. My kid doesn’t even know what to do with it. I hate hoola hoops in general but this one is of good quality. If you want a hoola hoop off amazon we’ll then you should buy this mofo.

Worked for my purpose
I purchased this for a Halloween costume. It was a bit hard to snap together, but otherwise fine. I never used it as a hula hoop, but assume it would work for a small child.

Should've read the reviews!
Just got this for my daughter for xmas..Xmas... it doesn't go to together and even if it does I don't see this working as a human hoop... it's like hollow tunes that are bent weird.

Does the trick
Easy to put together, compact for shipping. Only downfall we have noticed is that it can be dented somewhat easily too. Loved by all of our kiddos.

That “6pcs” in the description fooled me. I was picturing 6 hula hoops, not pieces to make one hoop. My fault for not reading the fine print. Quality piece, but a bit pricey for one hula hoop

Your are better of buying a hula hoop at the Dollar store or Walmart. Do not waste your money. First of all, it is way too small in diameter for practically any child that can use a hula hoop, and the quality is not good.I bought 2 of the same for a 6 and 7-year-olds. They come in a plastic mesh bag, no store box. That alone was a sign that I should have paid $1 for each instead of $16. It is made of hard plastic.I returned them both and ordered 2 Auoxer Fitness hoops instead. These come with enough sections that you can assemble to the right size if you need to. Great quality, weight, texture. The kids loved them!
