ARS Blade Cleaner

Sap and plant gums dissolve in seconds, amazing product, cleans up sawblades, pruners , lovers, shears, and hedge trimmers quickly. Well worth it’s money! I used to clean all my gear with acetone or alcohol scrubbing and scrubbing at the sap and plant residues, this product doesn’t require scrubbing, sap wipes away clean. Wear gloves though as it will eat your skin.

Great stuff! Resins just melt away with a spritz on each side of the tool. Wipe away with rag, one or two swipes with carbide sharpener and a dab of 3-in-1 oil and my gardening tools look and work as if brand new. I've tried mineral spirits, oily sand and soap and water. I keep a bottle of this stuff in my gardening bucket. Nothing's easier.

I took the advice of a previous review to use Simply Green to clean my garden tools. I had, though, first used ARS. I took the advice of another reviewer to let the ARS spray stay on the tools for at least 15 minutes. Well, it cleaned a bit but not like some of the 5 star reviews said that the tools seemed like new. Mine did not. Probably because I have waited way too long to try to get them clean. Anyway, after applying the Simply Green, full strength, the tools like much better. I will keep the ARS because it may work better if I use it sooner when my garden tools need cleaning. Since I paid for the ARS with reward points, I don't feel like the price was that important.

Use for cleaning mostly gardening tools (ARS, Bahco, Corona, Felco, Okatsune). Spray on, wait a few seconds, wipe off, light oil, done. Blades go from green/brown to clean. Perhaps a bit expensive, but does the job well. I recommend.

Fantastic stuff - only complaint is that I can't read the label - but it's fairly self-explanatory, so.....

Loved that the product script is all in Japanese. The ARS products are hands down, the best. And thus product reflects Japanese fastidiousness-clean your tools so u don’t spread pests nor disease. The bottle has a goid ‘hand.’

The product works better than I expected. Spray it on, wait 15 to 30 seconds, wipe it off with a paper towel, and see a perfectly clean blade. It’ almost amazing. Don’t expect to read any directions for use or disposal though. Everything is in Japanese.

Des outils très sales et avec de la sève ancienne ont été nettoyés très facilement . Un coup de spray , cela devient vert marron, on essuie et c'est nickel. Ne pas respirer, se mettre en extérieur.
