You Get What You Pay For
I bought an auto wire stripper from Powerwerxs recently that was a surprisingly plastic and cheap tool from such a reputable company. You get what you pay for I guess, except that it wasn't inexpensive. I learned my lesson. This Jonard Tools device is a much better choice. It does quite a bit and does it very well: wire cutter, wire stripper and basic crimper. It even has the added bonus of handling 8 gauge wire where most others stop at 10 gauge. I've used it several times now and it has a good heft, fits well in my hand and does the job with confidence. My top recommendation!

Wish I had bought auto-strippers sooner
So much easier to use than the manual strippers. Used it on standard Romex but also on some tiny Gibson Humbucker wires. Worked well with both.

Not better than generic
I like my other Jonard wire strippers. These not as much. They work fine but no better than the cheapy ones I already have. The springs also require much greater hand force which is unnecessary. The small cutter also binds a tiny bit. There is also a separate clunk in the action which is pesky but may go away with time. My cheapy pair had this originally. I sent them back.

Auto adjusting wire stripper
Works like a charm on 24AGW all the way to up to 10 AGW. It struggled with 8 AGW wire though but I like that you didn’t have to reset anything!

Realmente mágica
Esta pinza es una herramienta que proporciona una enorme ayuda para cualquier trabajo con cables eléctricos. Desde quitar el forro de un cable de uso rudo sin lastimar los elementos interiores, hacer separaciones del aislante para uniones en T, pelar cables desde el número 18 hasta el número ocho, cortar, entorchar, y muchas otras cosas. La pinza viene muy bien presentada y empacada. Muy satisfecho con mi compra.
