Got what was needed and came in earlier.

It is definitely Kool Aid and it is definitely orange Kool Aid. It arrived quickly on day stated and was undamaged. If it had been damaged, I would have bee amazed since it is very hard to damage packets of Kool Aid. If you like Kool Aid then this is the product for you since there is no doubt at all in my mind that it definitely is, as stated above, Kool Aid. Way, way back, Consumers Union actually liked Kool Aid because of the simplicity of its ingredients. I advise all Kool Aid fans to buy this product since this is Kool Aid and, as mention before, it is definitely Orange Kool Aid though, if one does not care for orange Kool Aid, one might eschew this purchase in favor of, for example, lime Kool Aid. For the real Kool Aid officianado, one who insists that Kool Aid must be red for authenticity, one might try cherry or some other red variant. My granddaughter Helen, also gives if five stars because she, herself, is five and thus has an almost overwhelming fondness, currently, for this particular number. Thus, Kool Aid has lucked out for, had I made the purchase of this Kool Aid a year previously, the Hellenic star factor probably would have zeroed in around four stars. A slight warning to anyone who does not like Kool Aid either for authentic or for reason related to snobbery, this is actually real Kool Aid you that would probably preclude it from your purchasing agenda. For Doomsday Preppers, we might note that Kool Aid, if kept dry, would probably last a good thirty years and, if the bomb has not dropped, Yellowstone has not exploded, or zombies have not, supposedly, swarmed, then you might either restock your supply and just forget it or keep drinking beer. You'll probably be dead in thirty years after waiting for the apocalypse anyway so it might not matter. Kool Aid could be left as part of your estate at any rate or just leave it in your bunker for future archeology to write three hundred page treatises on. "Orange Kool Aid in the Twentieth and Twenty First Centuries" might be suggested as a topic. I like Kool Aid by the by and I especially like orange Kool Aid which, as we know by now, is orange and definitely not red. Enjoy.

I ordered this and it came in a shrink-wrapped carton designed to open and sit on a grocery shelf. However the box, and the outside of the separate pouches have an odor that I cannot describe - almost musty. The smell continued into the first batch I made, but I threw that out and tried again a few days later and it seems to be gone. Wherever this was being stored it picked up the odor.
